2nd Upheld by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled for the first time Monday that the Second Amendment provides all Americans a fundamental right to bear arms, a long-sought victory for gun rights advocates who have chafed at federal, state and local efforts to restrict gun ownership.


The court was considering a restrictive handgun law in Chicago and one of its suburbs that was similar to the District law that it ruled against in 2008. The 5 to 4 decision does not strike any other gun control measures currently in place, but it provides a legal basis for challenges across the country where gun owners think that government has been too restrictive.

“It is clear that the Framers . . . counted the right to keep and bear arms among those fundamental rights necessary to our system of ordered liberty,” Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. wrote for the conservatives on the court.
It was a 5-4 decision with Justice Sam Alito penning the majority decision and Justice Antonin Scalia writing a scathing concurrence and kiss-off to retiring Justice Anthony Stevens. Ed Morrissey runs down the ruling here.

O' holding secret meetings with Hamas

A senior Hamas figure said Friday that official and unofficial US sources have asked the Islamist group to refrain from making any statements regarding contacts with Washington, this following reports that a senior American official is due to arrive in an Arab country in the coming days to relay a telegram from the Obama Administration.

The Hamas figure told the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper that the Americans fear discussing the talks publicly would “rouse the Jewish lobby and other pressure groups in the US and cause them to pressure the administration to suspend all talks with Hamas.”

The Hamas figure, who is close to Ismail Haniyeh, the prime minister of the government in Gaza, added, “This is a sensitive subject. The Americans don’t want anyone to comment on it because this would catch the attention of pressure groups (in the US) and cause problems.”

He said Hamas’ exiled leadership in Damascus is overseeing the contacts behind closed doors.

The State Dept has labeled Hamas as a terrorist organization, but Obama is hold secret meetings with them.

Last night I had the utmost pleasure to see one of the greatest American bands of our life time.
Lynyrd Skynyrd came to the Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL and ROCKED the house.
On their tour, "God & Guns" they played tribute to our American heroes in Afghanistan and Iraq and remembered 'their' (and our) fallen heroes: Ronnie VanZant, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson, Cassie Gaines, Billy Powell, Hughie Thomasson and Ean Evens.
Their passion for America, love of music and the spirit of God will be remembered for my life time.

The Disclose Act: shreds the U.S. Constitution

The Disclose Act that House Democrats passed Thursday would "shred" the U.S. Constitution and represents a "blatant partisan maneuver to protect their incumbency," according to U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President R. Bruce Josten.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Josten says the Disclose Act, which passed by a 219 to 206 margin, reveals just how much Democrats fear the nation's rising anti-incumbent fervor.

"I think it's clear what's going on here," says Josten. "The House Democratic majority and the Senate Democratic majority in Congress are clearly trying to tilt the playing field in the middle of the game, racing and rushing to do it."

The administration declared Monday that the Disclose Act "takes great strides to hold corporations who participate in the Nation's elections accountable to the American people. As this is a matter of urgent importance, the administration urges prompt passage of the Disclose Act."

But Josten says the act would heavily restrict the rights of more than 100,000 associations nationwide to run ads expressing their political views.

Groups opposing the measure span the political continuum, including the ACLU, the Sierra Club, PIRG (the federation of state public interest research groups), the chamber and many others.

Obama weighing to skirt congress on Illegals

From Fox News- The Obama administration has been holding behind-the-scenes talks to determine whether the Department of Homeland Security can unilaterally grant legal status on a mass basis to illegal immigrants, a former Bush administration official who spoke with at least three people involved in those talks told FoxNews.com. 

The issue was raised publicly by eight Republican senators who wrote to the White House on Monday to complain that they had heard the administration was readying a "Plan B" in case a comprehensive immigration reform bill cannot win enough support to clear Congress. 

The White House would not confirm or deny the claim. But the former Bush official said the discussions are real.  

"The administration at the very minimum is studying legal ways to legalize people without having to go through any congressional debate about it," the source said, calling the senators' claim credible. "Whether somebody pulls the trigger on that, that's another issue." 

The senators -- Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa; Orrin Hatch, R-Utah; David Vitter, R-La.; Jim Bunning, R-Ky.; Saxby Chambliss, Ga.; Johnny Isakson, R-Ga.; James Inhofe, R-Okla.; and Thad Cochran, R-Miss. -- claimed in their letter that the administration was looking at extending what is known as deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. 

The former official said it's unclear what specific avenues the administration is considering, but that one potentially feasible option would be to use either deferred action or parole to legalize at once the millions of immigrants who have overstayed their visas -- not necessarily those who crossed the border illegally. 

Deferred action and parole would give illegal immigrants the ability to seek a work permit and temporary legal status. 

Those two tools are usually used on a case-by-case basis. The former official said any move to broaden that authority and use it on a mass basis would be "woefully inappropriate," though politically brilliant. 

The Republican senators who wrote to President Obama expressed a similar view. They wrote that any unilateral action would "further erode the American public's confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books." 

The discussions of blanket legalization come in the middle of several concurrent and heated debates over illegal immigration. The recently signed immigration law in Arizona has divided the country, with some states trying to replicate the state's tough legislation and other jurisdictions boycotting the state in protest. The Obama administration plans to file a court challenge. 

Democrats, meanwhile, have been trying to round up support for an overhaul bill in Congress.

After reading General Stanley McChrystal's comment (1) in a Rolling Stone magazine article entitled "The Runaway General," Obama departed from his calm, deliberative style. He wasted little time in ordering him to fly halfway around the world to face the music on Wednesday.

Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs, speaking more bluntly and emphatically than usual at his daily briefing on Tuesday, said "the magnitude and greatness of the mistake here are profound" and repeatedly declined to say McChrystal's job was safe.

Current polling on some news website shows that nearly 92% don't feel firing McChrystal over a rag of a Magazine story is a big issue when we are fighting a war against Islams radicals.

'Nightline' examines a part of Texas one citizen described as "almost America" because the Feds have abandoned this small town on the Rio Grande to Mexican criminal invaders. They are left to fend for themselves. The Sheriff has to call on citizens to arm up to deal with increased violence.
He has 5000 Sq miles of area to protect and 17 deputies. No where nears enough to protect the nation on the boarder.

Reported: Some in the media have tried to discredit the video, claiming that it is "edited". There are only two cuts in the whole sequence - the first occurs before the assault. The second cut occurs when the congressman smashes the victim's camera-phone.

Back in April I posted a news story about a member of the Kenyan Parliament, openly admitting in a sessions of their Parliament that Barack Hussein Obama is a native Kenyan. But skepticism still rains.
What you will watch here is a presentation of the copy of the official live birth certificate of Obama... from the Kenyan Government, that has been filed in to US court and sworn in as authentic by the plaintiff.
If the courts rule this is a legitimate Kenyan certificate of live birth. Barack Obama can no longer serve as the President of the United States and all laws signed in by him, shall become Null and Void.

NY Masque Protest Gathers Thousands

From the streets of New York City. A City that was decimated by the acts of terror on 9/11/2001,  the streets filled with those who will never forgot the horror's of that day. And vow never to allow the religion that spawned the radicalism of that day to build their house of worship upon the memorial grounds upon which so many innocent lives lost.

The opponents of a proposed mosque near Ground Zero are not done protesting yet.
Just hours after Sunday afternoon’s massive demonstration in Zuccotti Park, the anti-mosque organizers said they would continue fighting plans to build a 13-story mosque and community center, called Cordoba House, two blocks north of the World Trade Center site.
“This is just the beginning,” wrote Pamela Geller, executive director of Stop Islamization of America, which organized the protest.

Geller wrote on her blog that the planned site of the Cordoba House, the former Burlington Coat Factory building on Park Place, should be landmarked as a “war memorial.” The historic building was heavily damaged on 9/11 when landing gear from one of the jets crashed through the roof.
Geller and others said they would sue the city and federal government to landmark the building.
“We will protest again in September and stage sit-ins in front of the mosque should they try to break ground,” she wrote. “Three thousand good and decent Americans did not die in vain.”
The city Landmarks Preservation Commission considered landmarking the 152-year-old Burlington building back in 1989 but never made a final decision. The commission could hold a hearing as soon as July to either landmark the building or remove it from consideration.

Lets hope SMARTER heads prevail and NEVER allow this Masque to built there.

OBAMA WHITE HOUSE SIDES WITH HAMAS!
The Obama White House is now siding with Hamas over Israel. Despite the documented ambush on the Israeli soldiers this week by radical Islamists in the Mediterranean, the White House is pressuring Israel to end its blockade of Gaza essentially undermining Israel’s last wall of defense against the Islamic killers and their supply line.
President Obama refused to side with Israel after the attack and told Prime Minister Netanyahu to go back to Israel out of concern that the Israeli Prime Minister would use the White House as his backdrop while discussing the flotilla ambush.
Reuters reported:

The White House said on Friday Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip was unsustainable and urged a Gaza aid vessel sent by pro-Palestinian activists to divert to an Israeli port to reduce the risk of violence.
“We are working urgently with Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and other international partners to develop new procedures for delivering more goods and assistance to Gaza,” said Mike Hammer, spokesman for the White House National Security Council.
“The current arrangements are unsustainable and must be changed. For now, we call on all parties to join us in encouraging responsible decisions by all sides to avoid any unnecessary confrontations,” Hammer said in a statement.
Israel was preparing to intercept the Irish-owned ship the Rachel Corrie, bound for Gaza with aid and activists, after its naval operation on Monday in which nine Turkish activists were killed on another ship when it was boarded by Israeli forces.

The White House is asking Hamas to act “responsibly”? Since when has Hamas acted responsibly?
As Charles Krauthammer wrote this week:

Without forward or active defense, Israel is left with but the most passive and benign of all defenses — a blockade to simply prevent enemy rearmament. Yet, as we speak, this too is headed for international de-legitimation. Even the United States is now moving toward having it abolished.
But, if none of these is permissible, what’s left?

In what is called the National Security Strategy document, that is required of US Presidents by their Congress, that embraces the dictatorial ideals of the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act”, Obama has ordered his Federal police and intelligence forces to begin targeting Americans opposed to him and his radical socialist polices.

After an appearance a few weeks ago on “The O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel, Metzler began to receive despicable, racist voicemail messages.  One caller swears at him profanely and tells him to get his “black ass back to Africa.” Hear it here:

OPPS, Western Media forgot Flotilla fact

In the wake of the deadly battle at sea against the Gaza Flotilla, Israel has been telling the world that the prime sponsor of the so-called “Gaza Flotilla” is a terrorist linked organization. Many news organizations, (including the New York Times, Reuters, and the British Broadcasting Corporation), are ignoring this charge and continue to refer the so-called victims as peaceful Palestinian advocates.
A week ago, the Republic of Cyprus denied the flotilla any access to its ports. Despite some international criticism, the Cypriot government did not want to be party to a dangerous scheme by a confrontation minded group.The Cypriots clearly did their homework  – something that the news media did not.
A quick search of Internet reveals that Turkish based International Humanitarian Fund (IHH) is embedded with terrorists and their organizations. Like Hamas they provide humanitarian aid but their clients include Al Qaeda, Hamas, etc. Turkish security forces raided the Istanbul office of IHH. IHH activists were arrested, and Turkish security forces found explosives, manuals, and weapons. (For authoritative information on IHH click here.)
According to the French intelligence, the president of IHH (Bulent Yildirim) recruited “Jihad warriors” and transferred firearms, and explosives to Al Qaeda and other Islamic terrorists organizations. IHH has also been fingered for producing documents so Islamic terrorists can travel by air posing as relief workers. And IHH was involved with the terrorist who tried to smuggle 1320 pounds of explosives to be used to blow up Los Angeles International Airport.
This is a partial picture of the forces challenging Israel. These are people who are determined to destroy the Jewish State. These facts are not being broadcast in the many hours of news time being given to the Flotilla story.

Funny how the major news organization conveniently forgot to mention IHH and that their "Organization" has been infiltrated by Terrorist.
The Western Media needs to be called out on this very important fact missing from their reports.
I guess it will be left up to the Bloggers to actually do the reporting of the News.
