Democrat double talk

How hypocritical is this from Nathan Daschle, Executive Director of the Democratic Governors Association?
"Americans are frustrated and fed up with the GOP's nonstop obstruction, ideological smears, and unyielding commitment to failed Republican ideas. With each passing day, Republicans get more fired up, irrational, and disconnected with reality -- and there couldn't be a more dangerous combination for people who wield real power.

Over and over, this is what I heard last weekend when I met with Democratic governors from across America -- I couldn't agree with them more.

These Republicans are ignoring America's call for action and progress on jobs, healthcare, you name it ... and focusing instead on seizing enough governorships to manipulate congressional redistricting and gerrymander themselves into control of Congress for the next decade."

Now, for a moment, stop and think about that last statement "
focusing instead on seizing enough governorships"

But Nathan goes on to "focus on" holding enough governorships with this:

"We only have three days left and we're still $54,280 away from our critical end-of-the-month goal. It's imperative that we meet this goal and get the resources to defeat the power-hungry Far Right"

Please!

Mr Daschle complains about the GOP focusing on winning governorships, but then turn around and asks for money for the DGA to hold off the GOP???

But the most profound Daschle statement is
"
every single penny you give today will be spent directly on preventing this cheap and underhanded GOP takeover"
Cheap???

And he's asking for $54K
And underhanded takeover???
OK..... since WHEN is an election "UNDERHANDED"???
You wonder what kind of person buys in to this BS double talk?
Uneducated minions.

Ice 'Tea Party'

Lansing, MI- When State of Michigan lawmakers return to work today they were greeted by an array of cold Ice Tea Party snowmen (and women).

The display was the work of a mid-Michigan group called Common Sence in Government that is reported to be affiliated with the Tea Party Movement.
Wendy Day, spokeswoman for the group said, " If the legislators feel a chill in the air, it isn't just because it is February. People are watching closely and won't stand for any new taxes".
This because Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) has proposed extending the state sales tax to cover some services to raise more than $500 million for the state.

Well you got to give them a great big hand, braving the cold to challenge their elected officials.
Good JOB!!!

Clinton Plotting Tea Party Counterattack

According to the website, Big Government dot com President Bill Clinton and James Carville are planning a counter offensive against the Tea Party movement.
Now why would they do that? Why would a former President attack American citizens.
Maybe to attack Americans who are fighting for the principles that our freedom loving nation was founded on?
Well that's odd.

Maybe they don't like a diverse group that comes from every walk of life and ethnic background?
Again, odd.

It must be that they all have one thing in common and that is they love freedom, economic freedom and freedom from big government and massive government deficits.
OK I can see why THEY don't like Americans pushing back at government spending and bloated bureaucracy, because, well, that's what Democrats do.

Well here is one fact BigGovernment.com has found out, and that is Clinton & Carville have plans to identify 7-8 national figures active in the tea party movement and engage in a smear campaign against them.

So with that said, the Tea Party movement, Tea Party Patriots & Tea Party Nation, are mounting a retort to Carville and Clinton during this campaign.
They have created a web site for you to upload videos to, in hopes to collect videos from thousands of patriots telling former President Clinton and James Carville that they are tea party leaders by filming the 'videos at home, soccer fields, grocery stores and other locations that are indicative of the diversity of the tea party movement. Their idea is "strength in numbers".
If you wish to Participate in the video campaign to tell the liberals that we the people are the leaders of this movement, you can do so by visiting them HERE
Only one rule that they ask of you, "Record your video saying only 'I am the tea party leader'. Please do not make any statement other than the one listed or it will not be posted."

I have uploaded my video, will you???
Go get'em TPN

'Miss me Yet' -Hell YES!

The Internet has been rocking with rumors that if you drive down Interstate 35 near the town of Wyoming, Minnesota, you'll see a billboard showing the image of a smiling George W. Bush accompanied by the question "Miss me yet?"

Many thought the picture was a hoax created through Photoshop and then posted on the internet. But now numerous people have confirmed its existence. The mystery surrounding the billboard quickly went from a fact or fiction story into being genuine.
Mary McNamara, the general manager at the Minneapolis office of Schubert & Hoey Outdoor Advertising, the company which owns and leases out the billboard space confirmed "The ad was purchased by a group of small business owners who wish to remain anonymous," McNamara said. However, McNamara did offer this political bombshell, according to AP: "Some of the people in the group who paid for this were Obama supporters."

Is it a bombshell? Or if you pay close attention to the quote 'WERE Obama supporters'. Probably not any more.

McNamara told the AP "some have even contacted her office offering to donate money to keep it up."
But of course the lefties in power are down playing this.
Cindy Erickson, the chairwoman of the Democratic Party in Chisago County, where the billboard is located, suspects the ad's funders are conservative activists posing as Obama supporters.

"I don't have any idea who did it, but my thought was that they're Tea Party people,"

Well Cindy, Tea Party people are NOT all conservatives. But of course the left has no clue what the Tea Party movement is all about, even when you explain it to them.

Erickson childish rant continues "I think most people have interpreted their message to be 'If you think it's bad now, don't forget how bad it used to be,'" she said. "It's just a goofy photo of him. It's goofy."

How bad it use to be???
Bush left office it was 7.5% unemployment. It now sits at 10%. Poor excuse by Ms. Erickson, I'd say.

It's a full fledged slam at Obama.
Point to make. In a recent poll a few weeks ago, 44% of those polled wish Bush was back in office. Only 36% are glad he is gone.

I'd like to meet the group of business owners and shake their hand. True American Patriots.

Socialist & their 'kill free speech' agenda

Since the Supreme court ruling that corporations and unions have a constitutional right to freedom of speech, Reclaim Democracy.Org has waged war on the Supreme court ruling and they have backers in congress, namely U.S. Representatives Donna Edwards and John Conyers, who have calls for an Amendment to overrule Citizens United and clarify that political free speech is a human right. John Kerry becomes first Senator to support such action.
On top of this the ACLU is reevaluating its advocacy for "corporate speech" rights.

Reclaim Democracy.Org is a ramshackle operation based in Montana. Here is their headquarters (thanks to Goggle Earth for this snapshot) Not much, huh.
How can someone in a little shack like this some how move congress to draft an Amendment to the Constitution denying freedom of speech???
Their objective (according to the website) [To]focus: amending the U.S. Constitution to overturn the Court-created notion of applying constitutional rights to corporations.
But the left will give our enemy constitutional rights, but not American Corporations?
AND they say nothing of unions. HMMM wonder why?
Reclaim Democracy is a socialist front to back the left movement to destroy 'Democracy' & the US Constitution.
They need to be reminded of the First Amendment to our constitution.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

America needs to wage war on ReclaimDemocracy.Org
