Conservative Media Watch Dogs Call Out the MSM

Brent Bozell and two dozen other conservative activist and media personalities have called on the public to tune out the likes of CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN and have called on them to stop the bias media coverage on Romney and start covering Obama's serious lack of leadership as our president.

The letter states:

This election year, so much of the broadcast networks, their cable counterparts, and the major establishment print media are out of control with a deliberate and unmistakable leftist agenda. To put it bluntly: you are rigging this election and taking sides in order to pre-determine the outcome. In the quarter century since the Media Research Center was established to document liberal media bias, there has never been a more brazen and complete attempt by the liberal so-called “news” media to decide the outcome of an election.

A free and balanced media are crucial to the health of this country. It is your duty as journalists – as outlined in the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics – to “distinguish between advocacy and news reporting,” while simultaneously “seeking truth and providing a fair and comprehensive account of events and issues.”

There is a reason why the media are viewed with such disdain by the American public, as evidenced by every recent poll on the issue.

You have breached the public trust by willfully turning a blind eye to the government’s public policy failures, both domestic and foreign, while openly and shamefully smearing Gov. Mitt Romney. You are:

• Painting conservative ideas as extreme, while refusing to report the disastrous consequences of liberal programs enacted since 2008.

• Submerging the truly horrendous economic conditions America is facing and focusing only on minor political issues.

• Characterizing conservatives as cruel budget “slashers” instead of responsible officials trying to avoid a debt catastrophe.

• Focusing on alleged shortcomings in Romney’s business record instead of Obama’s record as the chief executive, whose policies contributed to a failed economy.

• Deliberately covering up embarrassing government failures and scandals, including the Solyndra debacle, Fast & Furious, and national security leaks which have put American lives in jeopardy.

• Pouncing on real and perceived missteps by conservatives, portraying them as bumbling incompetents, while suppressing embarrassing and incendiary remarks made by Vice President Joe Biden to prevent him from becoming a liability.

• Portraying conservative opposition to tax hikes as an impediment to deficit reduction while failing to highlight how liberal tax increase policies will cause massive damage to the economy and cause the deficit to explode.

• “Fact-checking” conservatives in order to discredit their arguments while regularly refusing to "fact-check" liberals who are distorting the truth.

We the undersigned – representing millions of Americans from our respective organizations – are now publicly urging our members to seek out alternative sources of political news in order to make an intelligent, well-informed decision on November 6.

It is time the American people turn you who are offending off, once and for all. You have betrayed their trust.

Middle East Turmoil- What Does Obama Say

In an interview yesterday with CBS, the President of the United States called the uprising in Northern Africa and Egypt, along with our sovereign territory, our flag being torn down and replace with an Al-Qaida flag and the death of Ambassador Stevens, were just “Bumps in the Road”

Is he just down playing what took place there, for political reasons, or does he really feel this way?

Either way, it's despicable!

2016 Movie- Dinesh D'souza Sets the Record Straight

In response to the Associated Press's article that supposedly Fact Checks the 2016 Movie, Dinesh D'souza sets the record straight:

FACT-CHECKING AP’S FACT CHECK ON “2016: OBAMA’S AMERICA”

A few days ago the Associated Press ran a news article by reporter Beth Fouhy charging that my film “2016” contains serious factual errors. Remarkably, for a news article, the reporter didn’t bother to check with me or anyone else at the film. This was my first indication that something was deeply wrong with this article.

Let’s look at the specific charges raised in the AP article.

First, it claims that I “never mention the explosion of debt that occurred under Obama’s predecessor, Republican George Bush.” This is simply false. The film quotes former Comptroller David Walker saying that the national debt exploded under both George W. Bush and Barack Obama. The film shows a clear graphic depicting the actual debt increase under both presidents, so that the viewer can compare them. The simple truth is that Bush’s largest annual deficits were below $500 billion and Obama’s lowest annual deficit was above $1 trillion. So Bush was a big spender and Obama an even bigger spender. This is made crystal-clear in the film.

Second, the AP article quotes me as saying that Obama has “done nothing” to prevent Iran from getting nuclear bombs. This is a deliberate misquotation. Actually in the film I recall a prediction that I made in my book The Roots of Obama’s Rage. The prediction was that Obama “would do nothing significant” to prevent Iran from getting nuclear bombs. By omitting the word “significant,” AP can then claim that Obama has taken some measures, including some modest sanctions, against Iran. But my point is that these measures are so weak that they cannot be expected to–and in fact haven’t–deterred the mullahs in the slightest.

Third, the AP article “refutes” my contention that Obama is weirdly sympathetic to Muslim jihadis fighting against America by pointing out that Obama ordered the killing of Osama Bin Laden and has also approved drone strikes against Al Qaeda. My argument was based on the premise that Obama wants to close down Guantanamo and to extend constitutional rights to jihadis captured in Iraq and Afghanistan. I explained Obama’s peculiar position by saying that he views these jihadis as freedom fighters seeking to liberate their countries from American occupation. As Obama has made clear, he views Bin Laden and Al Qaeda quite differently, as international gangsters who go abroad to kill innocent people. So my argument about Obama is quite consistent with his actions against Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Fourth, the AP article claims that I misrepresent Obama’s position on the Falkland Islands. Not true. The British position on the Falklands is that the islands belong to the U.K. The Argentine position supports negotiations over the control of the islands. Despite the special relationship between America and Britain, and despite the fact that Republican and Democratic presidents have supported the British position, the Obama administration has switched sides and now supports the Argentine position calling for negotiations. This is reflected in resolutions passed by the Organization of American States and backed by the United States.

Finally the AP article disputes the film’s claim that Obama removed a Winston Churchill bust from the Oval Office. The AP article takes its cue from a White House blog that initially attempted to deny this and obfuscate the issue by claiming possession of a second bust. This second bust was supposedly under repair but has now mysteriously surfaced. But none of this changes the fact that one of Obama’s first actions as president was to return the Oval Office bust of Churchill. Obama didn’t just want to relocate it, he wanted it given back to Britain. That bust now sits in the home of the British ambassador. The film explains Obama’s hostility to Churchill by noting that he was a champion of colonialism and ordered a crackdown on an anti-colonial rebellion in Kenya in which Obama’s father and grandfather were both detained. So we know what Obama did, and we know why he might have wanted to do it. As for the original White House blog, the White House has admitted its inaccuracy and apologized.

So what’s going on here? Certainly it’s possible to debate the issues raised in the film. If AP wanted to commission a review or Oped article, that would be fine. But instead the news agency has published a crude and inaccurate attack masquerading as a news story. Evidently this fact-checking article required its own fact-checker.

Perhaps AP can now regain some credibility in this matter by publishing an apology.

The Case of the Chinese Spy- Anne Onymous

With all, and I mean ALLLLLLLLL the news coverage on Mitt's gaff (as the liberal news media is calling it) it's a wonder that they are not covering something that matters. Like all the turmoil going on around the world and Obama's foreign policy in the tank.

Turns out, Old Jimmy Carters grandson, James Carter IV, came across the video in question, and based on the MSM story on this:

The grandson of former President Jimmy Carter and a self-fashioned Democratic opposition researcher, the younger Carter had watched countless hours of footage of Republican Mitt Romney and made it a habit to search YouTube every few days for keywords like "Romney" and "Republicans."

If I am not mistaken, the DNC had asked supporters to get as much footage as they can on Romney, in hopes of finding something to tag him with.

Something told him there might be more there than the brief clip posted on the YouTube channel "Anne Onymous." Although not affiliated with any campaign or super PAC Soon after, Carter persuaded Anne to trust Mother Jones’s Corn with the full video on the condition that he keep the source's identity a secret. Corn ran with it.

 

So who is this Anne Onymous?

She right here. And here.

She appears to be Oriental, and yes, she's from China, based on her photo background and her You Tube account.

And as you can see, a big Democrat (Socialist) lover to boot.

You’ve got to wonder, why was she so hesitant to pass the video on?

And how did she get in to a $50K a plate private fundraiser in Colorado to make this video?

Can It Be Any More Obvious to You?

Arab Governments from the middle east are calling on the US to stomp on the Constitution. Particularly the 1^st amendment.

Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said Saturday that he expected changes in U.S. law and media practice following the release of a 14-minute anti-Islam YouTube video and a week of ongoing unrest in the Middle East.
Of course, the You Tube video had nothing to do with the Egyptian uprising.

Early on the morning of Sept 12^th, just after the protest started in Egypt, I searched for the You Tube video in question. And to my surprise, the video was uploaded on July 2^nd and had less than 250 views. So it’s a bogus claim that is being circulated out there that this is the cause for the anti-America protest happening around the world.

Egypt PM also said The United States should “take the necessary measures to ensure insulting billions of people – one and a half billion people – and their beliefs does not happen, and people pay for what they do, and at the same time make sure that the reflections of the true Egyptian and Muslims is well represented in Western media,”

For REAL???

In Dearborn MI, an Imam there has also called on curbing freedom of speech, saying “the U.S. to do more to stop the people behind the video and those who are promoting it. Somehow, they should be stopped," said Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. "The U.S. response should be much more stronger than verbal condemnation."

Christianity is under attack daily, from the radical Muslims, hardcore leftist and atheist to remove it from our society. When they attack Christ, we don’t take to the streets and embassies, destroy them, kill their leadership and burn everything in sight. NO we don’t. We don’t call for the total removal from our society of any faith.

These Arab Governments and Imam’s want one thing. To appear as moderates. They’re NOT.

To call out that we the people need to be constrained because some in their faith can’t control their emotions, is a radical call from the so called “Moderates”.

On this day, our Constitution Day, the Muslims are calling on this country to control the media and citizens right to free speech.
This is how Sharia creeps in to our society, and we must stay vigilant that we have these rights and they shall never be taken from us. EVER!

Was Our President Missing In Action

A report from UK’s The Independent is revealing some serious flaws at the top of our military command and what a full scale investigation might be under way. (Or at least should be).

Now this we know, that the attack on Ambassador Stevens was planned, based on American officials determination.
Ambassador Steven had recently left Libya on a trip to Germany, Austria and Sweden.
His return, though, was hasty and unplanned and was confidential.
Yep, that’s right, confidential.

TI reports

Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the "safe house" in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed "safe".

Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups.

US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted.

Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated it was not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video

Now, with all this said, could this tragedy have been avoided?

I truly believe so!

It has been reported two days ago from the Breitbart website (public logs linked there) that the Whitehouse calendar shows no public record of Obama attending his daily intelligence briefing for 5 days prior to the attacks, which would have raised red flags about the coming attack warnings of all of our embassies in the middle east.

So it looks like our commander-n-chief was too damn busy with campaigning, raising money, golfing, or whatever else he does with his time as our “President”!!!

Our Sovereignty, Our Diplomats, Our Nation

As I am sure you know by now, our Embassy in Cairo Egypt fell under attack yesterday, on the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks on our nation.

What’s enraging them now? Some really shitty B Rated movie depicting “their” prophet Mohammed….

Reports out now say that the Muslim Brotherhood knew this attack was planned and they did NOTHING to prevent it.

This was an attack on our sovereign territory. And act of war.

Just like under the Carter Administration, when then our embassy in Iran came under attack and was seized, we are repeating similar history today, as the pukes in Cairo breech our embassy walls, tore down our flag, burned it, and in it’s place, an al-Qaida flag was erected.

In July, the Obama administration gave $1.3B of aid to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government, and this is the THANKS we get???

In 2009 Obama, gave his now known apology tour with one of his first stops, where else, Cairo!

Back then, Robert Gibbs said the President has “Changed the image of America around the world.”

He sure has, especially in the Muslim world, as he is being perceived as a weak American President.

In an overnight development, our Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens was among four embassy staffers killed in rocket attack in that country by what it now appears to be an al-Qaida driven attack.

This, I am sure, has enraged you, as it has me.

In March of 2011, the US Navy and NATO forces attacked Moammar Gadhafi Military to help Libyan Citizens bring him down.

Meanwhile, back then, in America we were asking “Who are these Libyan Rebels anyways?”
Without getting congressional approval, Obama order our Navy  to take part in the attacks.

In September of that year, President Obama stated the US and NATO allies will continue to help Libya forge a democracy after the fall of Gadhafi.

Guess Obama forgot about it, since he has been too busy working the teleprompters across America to get re-elected.

This whole Arab Spring, a road to democracy the left had been bellowing about, as come to bite Obama in the ass, as we have endured another attack on our land and now a government official has been killed.

ALL IN THE NAME OF APPEASEMENT, UNDERTANDING AND COOPERTION?

Liberals Latest Lunatic Idea

Move On.Org is now circulating a online petition to demand the News Networks that will host the Presidential Debates have a…. ready for this… fact checker in the panel.

Yep, I told you is was lunatic idea.

What is the real motivation? What good would it do to have a fact checker there? To stop the debates and correct the candidate?

So what will this do?

Fact Checkers review what’s been said and then RESEARCH facts before compare them to what’s been said and supposedly set the record straight. That takes time to check. More than just a few minutes or hours.

Well guess what? Fact checkers don’t always get it right, either.

The debates will be televised on ABC, CBS, PBS and CNN. The majority of these so called “News Networks” are, and have been proven bias.

So what good would it do? Most likely, if it’s Move On.Org setting this in place, these fact checkers will be in the tank for the liberal left, anyways.

BTW, to Ms. Meyer, I’d like to leave to my posterity the Free and Prosperous nation I was born in to!

Most Americans, I would say, would agree.

Was it Really Bush's Fault?

According to Gateway Pundit and the Daily Caller, Barack Obama, along with Congressional Dems, had a BIG hand in the crash of our economy in 2007-08.

Barack Obama played a leading role in the mortgage crisis of 2008 that sunk the US economy.
In his early activist days, Barack Obama the community organizer sued banks to ease lending practices.
State Sen. Barack Obama and crackpot priest Michael Pfleger led a protest in Chicago in January 2000. (NBC 5 Week of January 3, 2000)
In 1994, Barack Obama was one of the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit, alleging that Citibank had engaged in practices that discriminated against minorities. The lawsuit forced the bank to ease its lending practices.

Bush warned the Democratic Congress 17 times in 2008 alone about the systemic consequences of financial turmoil at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties.
Unfortunately, these warnings went unheeded, as the President’s repeated attempts to reform the supervision of these entities were thwarted by the legislative maneuvering of those who emphatically denied there were problems.

Of course, we could go back even further to the amendments of the Community Reinvestment Act signed in to law by Clinton, too.
