NO Mosque-Speak Up and Speak Out

Raheel Raza is a Muslim Canadian journalist, author, public speaker, media consultant, anti-racism activist, and interfaith discussion leader.
Raza is the author of  the book 'Their Jihad, Not My Jihad' and is one woman who is an  outspoken adversary of inequality toward Muslim women, and terrorism committed in the name of Islam and is totally against the Radicals with in her faith.
As a result, though, she has received death threats. She is one brave woman and I commend her for speaking out with truth.
In the 1:00 mark of this video, is the most impressive response from any one I have heard in regards to the mosque controversy on whether it should be built in New York City a few block from Ground Zero.
As a sat there and listened, I found myself sitting up and listening intently. And after her answer, I was on my feet applauding this woman and saying 'Hear Hear'!
What do YOU think?

Is she for real? She is the first moderate Muslim I've seen in a long time. The problem is we keep looking to these moderates as being the norm of Islam. That isn't true. Have you seen the Islamic moderates at the site denouncing this mosque? Where are the actions of these moderates when it comes to things like this? Christians denounes other Christian groups when they do wrong by Christ. We need to look at their actions not their words. When I see this women doing more toi stop the insensative Muslim mosque then I will believe her. When you see a "moderate muslim" they need to be asked if they believe we should have Sheria law in this country. And then ask them if they think Sheria is moderate. Know thy enemy.

The point of the post was to show that this woman, who would normally be afraid to speak out against the radicals, like the Imam, and on top of it, have numerous threats made to her life, is one courageous person to speak out on a show that is carried around the world, is impressive to me.
She is totally against this mosque being build where they want to build it. She has put herself in more danger by expressing her opinion openly and loudly in front of a worldwide audience IS, IMO, doing a unique action that is a serious offence within the radical confines of Islam.
This kind of bravery can and should encourage other woman of Islam to not be afraid to speak out against the radicals of their faith and stand up against them.
And I commend her for it.
