Huffington Post tries to Misquote Bachmann

The ever popular (with liberals, that is) HumpingThePost did their best last evening by trying to make Michelle Bachmann out to be some kind of moron, when they did a piece on their website that they claimed "Bachmann told supporters in Iowa on Wednesday of her lofty plans for American diplomacy, claiming that a Bachmann presidency would mean no U.S.embassy in Iran."

What sparked this piece by Humpingthepost was this Tweet, put out by James Novogrod of NBC.

James claims Bachmann said "we wouldn't have an American embassy in Iran."

Well James got the quote wrong. (typical MSM hack)

This is what Bachmann actually said, as she applauded the U.K.’s move to close down their embassy in Iran after the Iranians attacked it, by adding, “That’s exactly what I would do. We wouldn’t have an embassy in Iran. I wouldn’t allow that to be there” Praising the UK for closing theirs.

Her campaign issued a statement later Wednesday night saying Bachmann was “speaking in the hypothetical”.

But nice try, Huffington.

I replied to The Hump last night on this piece by saying "NBC's Jamie Novogrod mis-quotes Bachmann. "we wouldn't have an American embassy in Iran." Well Jamie got it wrong.

Bachmann applauded the U.K.’s move, adding, “That’s exactly what I would do. We wouldn’t have an embassy in Iran. I wouldn’t allow that to be there.” Praising the UK for closing theirs. Nice try though."

BUT since these posts are moderated.... IT NEVER GOT APPROVED to be published.
Guess they couldn't handle me exposing their LIE!
