GOP Vs Gingrich P1

We are in the midst of the most important election in our nation’s history.
We have endured the Obama Administration fundamental change long enough.
The GOP and the political right, need to get this right.
There is NO screwing this up, this time around.
Either we put the right candidate up against Obama, or IT'S over for this nation.

With a series of posts, my "hopes" are to be that the American people shall make the right choice and that we put up the most conservative, small government candidate we can get against the Obama campaign machine.

First up, is the Ron Paul and why he needs to be brought down early.

The Paulbots are the most bizarrest people you'd ever want to try and have a reasonable discussion with.
They are the most arrogant, mean and bullheaded electrite this nation has seen.
They think, as Paul does, they are the Knights Templar of the Constitution.
The one aspect of Pauls platform, his foreign policy, is so flawed and out of perspective that anyone outside the Paul-encampment soundly rejects it, IMO.

Here is a video exchange between Paul and Gingrich.

Here, Gingrich, schools Paul on the dangers of a terrorist, who could attain a nuke and set one off in an American city. Paul attitude is we brought it on ourselves.

Ron Paul lack of understanding this danger, to protect this nation by preempting an attack, is like saying we'll deal with it after the mushroom cloud dissipates.

What seems to be forgotten is any GOP left standing will be going up against the Chicago thugs who know how to campaign.
There is no one out there in the current GOP pack that can take on these Chicago pukes, except an established Reaganite Republican. That man IS NEWT!

The Message to The President From We the People

By compromising our cultural, legal and economic institutions, you are ensuring our children will never achieve the same quality of life that we enjoy today.
Through generational theft, you are robbing the unborn of that opportunity.
Our nation is a Republic, Sir!
We will NOT except ANY tyranny under any guise!
We the People will defend our liberty and protect our beloved country.
And American exceptionalism WILL PREVAIL!

Your Ideology is not acceptable.
It is not tolerable.
And it will NOT continue WITHOUT an answer by the people!

Sincerely,
We The People

Obama Circumvents Senate and the Constitution

Today, Dictator Obama took it upon himself to issue a recess appointment to the Consumer Protection agency, by naming Richard Cordray as head of the agency.

With a director in place, Obama said the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can start overseeing the mortgage companies, payday lenders, debt collectors and other financial operations often blamed for practices that helped undermine the economy.

But of course it wasn’t them who undermined the economy, but the federal government, as we all know.

In political terms, the recess appointment during the congressional break raised the level of confrontation for a president, one who is seeking re-election

Senate Republicans had halted Cordray's nomination because they think the consumer agency is too powerful and unaccountable.

The Senate's top Republican, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, accused Obama of an unprecedented power grab that "arrogantly circumvented the American people."

And House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio weighed in "It's clear the president would rather trample our system of separation of powers than work with Republicans to move the country forward. This action goes beyond the president's authority, and I expect the courts will find the appointment to be illegitimate."

"I'm not going to stand by while a minority in the Senate puts party ideology ahead of the people we were elected to serve," Obama said.

Obama has constitutional power to make appointments during a congressional recess.

However and to expressly to keep this and other appointments from happening, Republicans in the Senate have had the Senate running in "pro forma" sessions, meaning open for business in name with no actual business planned.

Each day Senate republicans gavel in the Senate to conduct, or not, business.

The Senate held such a session on Tuesday and planned another one on Friday. Republicans contend Obama cannot make a recess appointment during such a break of less than three days, based on years of precedent, and they point to comments by Obama's own Justice Department echoing that view.

Regardless, the Obama Whitehouse now contends such an approach is a gimmick.
Gimmick? The President of the United States call the Constitution is a gimmick.

With Obama’s action today, in making this appointment, he certainly has violated the Constitution once again. The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

But the Senate is still technically in session

Iowa Barbs- Romney vs Gingrich

Here we go folks. The removal of Barack Obama starts tonight in Iowa as the Republican nominee selection process begins in earnest.

As the current polls come out in Iowa, we find Romney, Paul dropping slightly, while Santorum surges from 9% to 16%. Gingrich has moved up slightly to 14%.

The big number in the last poll before the caucuses are the undecided, which stands at 41%.

That's a huge number.

Those polled, who are undecided, say they don't know where most of the candidates stand on the issues.

Ever wonder why? Because most of the candidates have NOT taken Ads out on their positions, but have spent their time taking shots a Newt Gingrich. All the while, Newt brings forth his position ON the issues.

Over the course of the past 2 week, fisticuffs have been tossed around between Newt and Mitt.
Newt has stayed as positive as he can. Don't know if thats a good idea or not. But you decide for yourself.

But I can't say the same thing for Romney.

Gingrich has repeatedly called out the other GOP presidential candidates -- Romney, in particular -- for airing negative ads in Iowa, many of which have targeted the former House speaker

"I've asked Romney for three weeks to tell his PAC to quit running negative ads. I've pointed out again and again that this is a terrible way to run for office," Gingrich said. "We have stayed positive. All of my ads remain positive."

Romney, however, said that the problem lies with Gingrich's poll numbers, not political advertising.

"The super PAC that happens to endorse me has put some ads out -- I can't control those. We're not allowed to have a coordination between a campaign and these independent PACs," Romney said. "I'm sure they may have had an effect, but you know, the speaker's had just as much difficulty in the polls in New Hampshire as he has in Iowa, and I don't think there are any negative ads going on there."

First off this is true, Newts numbers have been low in New Hampshire, so is everyone elses, because Mitt has always been a favorite there. Even in the last go around in 2008. So thats not the issue. Way to dodge the debate, Romney.

Second, Mitts comment of  "I can't control those, We're not allowed to have a coordination between a campaign and the Super PACs" is just plain wrong.

He can control, and he can coordinate.

FEC rules state that candidates can raise money for Super PAC's as long as it is collected and used BY the PAC. AND can plan campaign strategy via the use of communications ad. He just can't coordinate expenditures coordinated with candidates campaign.
In Citizens United, the US Supreme Court once again explained that ‘prearrangement and coordination’ presents the ‘danger that "expenditures" will be given as a quid pro quo for improper commitments from the "candidate."

So I'd have to say, Newt has a legitimate beef.
Romney should call off his Super Pac Dogs so he can campaign on the issues, that Iowans are saying they lack the understanding of from the candidates.
