In Florida, If You're Not a Citizen, Then Vote

A report out of Fort Myers Florida has uncovered at least a hundreds non-citizens who have been here for years, who have been casting votes for the last 11 years.

The report by a local affiliate of NBC (No Way), WBBH found that non citizens have been voting, all because of the motor voter law, and that state officials where prohibited from asking for proof of citizenship when they registered.

Some of those non-citizens, when filling out a voter registration forms, checked the box that they were in fact citizens... Which is a class three felony.

They only way election authorities can investigate fraud without asking for verification of citizenship is for them to get a tip... A tip...



If this is happening in Florida, it would have to be pretty rampant across the nation.
Time to repeal the Motor Voter Law.

Fifteen Missouri counties have more voters than census population Missouri Watchdog (hat tip Laura)

Missouri has about 90.3 percent of its census voting-age population registered to vote, but 15 counties show more registered voters than people 18 and older.

These results use the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Missouri Secretary of State, but 12 of these counties also had more than 100 percent registration in 2008.

These numbers may be high but are an improvement after a federal lawsuit in 2005 found 37 Missouri election jurisdictions had more voters than voting age population.

An article in the Kansas City Star in October 2004 said “If Missouri’s voter rolls are accurate, that would mean that 98 percent of adults are registered to vote .”  But the lawsuit was dropped in 2009.

A Craven County voter says he had a near miss at the polls on Thursday when an electronic voting machine completed his straight-party ticket for the opposite of what he intended.

Sam Laughinghouse of New Bern said he pushed the button to vote Republican in all races, but the voting machine screen displayed a ballot with all Democrats checked. He cleared the screen and tried again with the same result, he said. Then he asked for and received help from election staff.

“They pushed it twice and the same thing happened,” Laughinghouse said. “That was four times in a row. The fifth time they pushed it and the Republicans came up and I voted.”

M. Ray Wood, Craven County Board of elections chairman, issued a written statement saying that the elections board is aware of isolated issues and that in each case the voter was able to cast his or her ballot as desired.

Chuck Tyson, chairman of Craven County GOP, remains skeptical. He has been communicating with Wood about the issue and was invited to a meeting Wednesday with state elections officials. There were no further details about that meeting.

“Something is not right here,” Tyson told the Sun Journal. He said he “got two or three calls” from people describing the same problem while they were voting.

“I’ll be matter of fact, I didn’t find that press release satisfactory,” Tyson said, referring to Wood’s written statement.

Tyson reported other problems as well, including long lines waiting for just two voting machines in Havelock, and machines reporting 250 ballots cast where 400 voters had signed in to vote.

Laughinghouse cast his ballot at the county administration building at about 2:30 p.m., he said. After voting, he located a Republican worker on site and asked to speak with her about his voting machine issue. A man interrupted, he said, directing Laughinghouse to talk with him instead. That man said the machine likely needed to be calibrated, Laughinghouse said, and set about the method to do so.

“Each morning every voting unit is calibrated as per manufacturer instructions by trained election rovers,” Wood’s statement said. “These individuals are also working throughout the county each day to assist one-stop officials with any issues that arise during the course of voting.”

Laughinghouse advises voters to carefully check their ballots before confirming to ensure that the machine is logging each vote as intended.

“If you’re in a hurry, you may just push the button and not notice it,” he said.

He has become suspicious of voter fraud because of news reports he has heard. He would prefer voting machines to display an error message when they need to be calibrated, as opposed to completing ballots for the opposite party, he said.

“I’m all for our country and we know there has been voter fraud before and it continues even today,” Laughinghouse said. “So you get suspicious when something like this happens.”

The elections board also encourages voters to check their ballots carefully and to report any problems to poll staff before confirming the electronic ballot.

“It is our desire to provide the citizens of Craven County with the most honest and fair election possible,” Wood’s statement said. “With that in mind and because we seek to maintain the privacy of all voters whenever possible, we ask any voter, while in the act of voting, notify an election official immediately should they experience any difficulties in casting their ballot.”

Wood was unavailable to expand on his written comments on Friday afternoon, as he was in a conference, an elections office employee said. He did not return a phone message seeking additional comment as of press time.

Tyson said he’d like it if Craven County would scrap its voting machines.

“They never work, they’re late reporting, they screw up, they ain’t worth a damn and we ought to go back to paper ballots,” he said.

Left Ramping Up Fraud?

I posted this a few days ago about how the Tea Party Patriots need your help for poll watchers.

And now comes this from the Chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association, David Norcross, tells Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview that the community-organizing group ACORN "absolutely" has re-emerged since it was disbanded in March following a rash of voter-fraud investigations.

"Some of the old ACORN groups are back at it again. They use quotas for registration. That encourages people to go out and sign up anybody, or nobody — just sign up addresses and things like that."

"It's an epidemic, It's laughable that the left calls voter fraud nonexistent. It's very much existent. "There's no question in my mind that the SEIU will continue those registration tactics.

What to look for when it come to Acorn. "What you want to look for as key words are 'community organization,' [and] 'justice, ' [or] 'working families.' Those are all key words, and we believe those organizations are simply remade ACORN organizations."

Norcross tells Newsmax he has many other vote-integrity concerns in the upcoming midterm. Among them: 

• The spike in voting by mail is a big concern because it offers very little ballot security. Even with a careful registration process, there's no way to check voters' ID for mail-in ballots. "Encouraging voting is one thing," he says. "But we ought not to be encouraging any voters who aren't supposed to be voters."
• He is very concerned about the integrity of Nevada's U.S. Senate election, pitting Republican challenger Sharron Angle against Majority Leader Harry Reid. The Republican National Lawyers Association has had a team on the ground in Nevada for two weeks to prepare accordingly. "We are going to be watching that one extremely carefully."
• Several states, including New York and Illinois, sent out military ballots several weeks late. "You can see how unsympathetic the Democrat establishment is on the question of voter fraud and military voting," he says.
• Electioneering in polling places, which is illegal, is relatively easy to detect, he says. Tougher to ferret out are voters who show up without identification and seek to cast a ballot under the name of someone else on the voter-registration rolls. Preventing that type of fraud can require a lawyer, he says.
• He acknowledges that Republicans were "outmaneuvered" in the 2008 Minnesota recount that sent Al Franken to the U.S. Senate over GOP incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman. "We're alert to the problems in Minnesota," Norcross says. "We think that the secretary of state there [Mark Ritchie] is anything but a hardliner on keeping recount regulations straight. So we're there, and we'll be watching that one very, very carefully."
• Norcross sees reverse racism in the Justice Department's handling of voter intimidatinon by billy-club-wielding members of the New Black Panther Party. Dismissing that case, he said, was "absolutely outrageous." The Justice Department has denied reports that it is investigating allegations of voter intimidation by tea party organizations in Texas.

What you need to look for before Nov 2nd.

Follow your local polls to see just how close, or far apart the candidates are heading up to election day.

Due diligence on past elections dating back 10 years and see a pattern of just how votes were cast.

Also watch key races from around the nation. Polls that show less then 3% 'unsure' and the percentage difference between the candidates is greater then the margin of error, usually goes the way of who is leading in the poll 5 days out, will rein victorious. And if they loose, 9 times out of 10 it was fraud.

When you head to the polls be very vigilant, be an observer and stay focus.
