Cut, Cap & Balance

Who, in their right mind, would oppose the Balanced Budget Amendment? (OK, I know you know the answer to the question.)

An Amendment that would force the Government to live with in their means.

Here is the pledge of the Cut, Cap & Balance idea, brought to you by Congressmen Dan Benishek, R [MI-1].

THE PLEDGE

I pledge to urge my Senators and Member of the House of Representatives to oppose any debt limit increase unless all three of the following conditions have been met:
  1. Cut - Substantial cuts in spending that will reduce the deficit next year and thereafter.
  2. Cap - Enforceable spending caps that will put federal spending on a path to a balanced budget.
  3. Balance - Congressional passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution -- but only if it includes both a spending limitation and a super-majority for raising taxes, in addition to balancing revenues and expenses.

The Amendment part of this pledge is a must for the future of our country.
It limits government to abuse and will ensure that we can pass down to our children and our children's, children, a country that we were born in to.

For America has a new video out to spread the word.
Will you?
Won't you?
Spread the Word, and sign the pledge?

Democrats want control of our money and us. Republicans want us to keep what we have and what God has given us.

Yes Chris, and to do that Dems need to pay back their special interests groups with our tax dollars and special legislation to secure their vote. They do not serve America and the constitution, they serve their own selfish interests.
