Allen West from Florida slams Debbie Wasserman Schultz in an email on Tuesday by calling the Democratic colleague from their state "vile, despicable and cowardly" after she called into question his stance on Medicare during the debate over a spending cap and balanced budget bill before the House.
What he said- "Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up..."that you are not a Lady" and "shall not be afforded due respect from me!"
What she said on the House floor after West left- "The gentleman from Florida, who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries. Unbelievable from a member from south Florida."
Wasserman didn't have the guts to author her own response, but rather left it to her spokesperson, Jonathan Beeton- "I don't think that Congressman West is upset at the congresswoman, but rather with the fact that she highlighted that he and other Republicans are once again trying to balance the budget on the backs of seniors... The truth hurts.".
Well Wasserman and Beeton need to take a little of their own comment to heart and read the truth.
H.R.2560, SEC. 318. ENFORCEMENT OF DISCRETIONARY AND DIRECT SPENDING CAPS “(a) Implementation.—The sequesters shall be implemented as follows:
(B) Section 255 of the Balanced Budget and Control Act of 1985 shall not apply to this section, except that payments for military personnel accounts (within subfunctional category 051), TRICARE for Life, Medicare (functional category 570), military retirement, Social Security (functional category 650), veterans (functional category 700), net interest (functional category 900), and discretionary appropriations shall be exempt.
It's obvious Wasserman didn't read the bill.

Good for Allen! I can't stand that lefty hag.
This behavior is very typical of the left.
Aside from that this bimbo does not have the guts to face West as she knows he would destroy her on a one-to-one.
DWS drives me nuts, also Bunni. It should be a crime to lie on the House floor, as she did, just to score political points? Maybe they know that the a$$ kicking they got last Nov is just the tip of the iceberg.
True, so true, Christopher. West could clean the floor with that mop of hers that sit atop of her neck. :)
Col West really gave that loudmouth hag what she had coming, and he did it firmly but professionally.
He is not a man to be trifled with and I predict she will lose this one.
Yes Sir Silver. And all this coming from the head of the DNC. She is clueless and loved how West slammed her in to the ground! Nice!
DWS and liberals lie to try and scare those that are uninformed and only listen to sound bits.
Unfortunately, there are many that fit that category, but increasingly becoming less in numbers.
In any event, DWS is a complete waste of skin!
"uninformed and only listen to sound bits."
Speaks to the youth turnout in 2008, DP.
Bits, whoops, dropped the e, should be bites! Same diff.
