Florida Judge Rules Obamacare Unconstitutional

Good news for us folks and States who understand the Constitution and the violation of the 111th Congress on our rights.
On to the Supreme Court we go.

MIAMI (Reuters) - A federal judge in Florida struck down President Barack Obama's landmark healthcare overhaul as unconstitutional on Monday, in the biggest legal challenge yet to federal authority to enact the law.

U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson, ruled that the reform law's so-called individual mandate went too far in requiring that Americans start buying health insurance in 2014 or pay a penalty.

"Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void. This has been a difficult decision to reach, and I am aware that it will have indeterminable implications," Vinson wrote.
Referring to a key provision in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, he sided with governors and attorneys general from 26 U.S. states, almost all of whom are Republicans, in declaring it unconstitutional.

"Regardless of how laudable its attempts may have been to accomplish these goals in passing the Act, Congress must operate within the bounds established by the Constitution," the judge ruled.

The administration said it may ask the U.S. appeals court to hold off on any changes in the implementation of the law pending an appeal Judge Vinson's decision. The highly politicized issue will likely end up at the Supreme Court for final determination.
The plaintiffs represent more than half the U.S. states, so the Pensacola case has more prominence than some two dozen lawsuits filed in federal courts over the healthcare law.
The healthcare overhaul enacted last year, a contentious cornerstone of Obama's presidency, aims to expand health insurance to cover millions of uninsured Americans. Administration officials insist it is constitutional and needed to stem huge projected increases in healthcare costs.

Two other district court judges have rejected challenges to the individual mandate.
But a federal district judge in Richmond, Virginia, last month struck down that central provision of the law in a case in that state, saying it invited an "unbridled exercise of federal police powers."
RULING DRAWS SOME SHARP CRITICISM
There was immediate strong reaction to the ruling.
Ron Pollack, executive director of Families USA, an influential national advocacy group that pushed for the healthcare overhaul, called Vinson's decision an example of "radical judicial activism run amok" and predicted it would be reversed on appeal.
"The decision flies in the face of three other decisions, contradicts decades of legal precedent, and could jeopardize families' health care security," he said in a statement.
"This just adds to the conflicting nature of the rulings that we've seen so far," said Matthew Coffina, an analyst with Morningstar.

"I think everyone watching the industry at this point has been expecting the Supreme Court to ultimately decide this situation, so I think that's the main reason you're not seeing the stocks react one way or another right now," Coffina said.
The states involved in the lawsuit were Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Iowa, Ohio, Kansas, Maine, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Egypt- Is This a New Iran-Open Thread

Over the course of the last 6 days, the world has been focused on Cairo Egypt and the mayhem it is experiencing.

So many reports coming out of that part of the world, along with North Africa and other middle east states that are experience the same protest. The destruction is enormous in Cairo.

Some reports have been brought forth that the Muslim Botherhood, which has ties with Al Qaeda and Hamas, is sparking, or at least egging on the un-rest. And waiting in the wings to fill any power vacuum that might be left behind.

It this situation a real fight for freedom?
Or is America's enemy, radical Islam, poised to spark revolution across the middle east?

And what will SofS Clinton do? Word out is she is heading down to Haiti for talks of their situation and get answers on where all that money went from the US and from around the world that was suppose to help their people after the earthquake of a year ago.

You're thoughts are urged and very much welcomed.

I might not agree with them, but please bring them forward.

Have They Walked Through the Front Door- UPDATE

From the Fox News Website.

A book celebrating suicide bombers has been found in the Arizona desert just north of the U.S.- Mexican border, authorities tell Fox News.

The book, "In Memory of Our Martyrs," was spotted Tuesday by a U.S. Border Patrol agent out of the Casa Grande substation who was patrolling a route known for smuggling illegal immigrants and drugs.
Published in Iran, it consists of short biographies of Islamic suicide bombers and other Islamic militants who died carrying out attacks.

According to internal U.S. Customs and Border Protection documents, "The book also includes letters from suicide attackers to their families, as well as some of their last wills and testaments." Each biographical page contains "the terrorist's name, date of death, and how they died."
Agents also say that the book appears to have been exposed to weather in the desert "for at least several days or weeks."
"At this time, DHS does not have any credible information on terrorist groups operating along the Southwest border,"
FBI director Robert Mueller, have raised serious concerns in recent years over "OTMs" -- or illegal immigrants other than Mexicans -- who have crossed the southwest border at alarming rates.

Mueller testified before the House Appropriations Committee in March 2005 that "there are individuals from countries with known Al Qaeda connections who are changing their Islamic surnames to Hispanic-sounding names and obtaining false Hispanic identities, learning to speak Spanish and pretending to be Hispanic."
Just last year, the Department of Homeland Security had in custody thousands of detainees from Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

The DHS doesn't have any credible info on terrorist operating along the southwest border... Thats because they are not operating along there and most likely have moved further in to the country to carryout whatever those books inspire them to do.

Incredible! Americans have been screaming at Washington to do something and it's falling on deaf ears. Whats it going to take to wake them up, dead Americans???

IL Supreme Court issues order keeping Deadfish Emanuel on Ballot for Now

The IL Supreme Court today issued a stay of the appellate court order, yesterday, that took Rahm Emanuel name off the Chicago mayoral ballot and in doing so, ordered election officials not to print any ballots without his name.

Chicago's strict residential law clearly states the anyone running for Chicago public office must have a physical presence as a resident within the city limits for 1 year prior to having their name placed on the ballot for an election.

The IL Supreme Court decision is shaping up to be an election nightmare, just like the 2000 Presidential election of Bush vs. Gore, when the Florida Supreme Court order a continuation of the recount be on the state law of 30 day requirement to submit election results.

By ordering Emanuel’s name on the ballot, the IL Supreme Court over ruled the law, which they cannot do. They can only strike down the law or uphold it.

US Supreme Court, here they come.

--------------------------------Update (with Video)-----------------------------
Large protest in Chicago last night after the appellate court rules Emanuel can not run on the ballot.
The last guy in this video GETS IT!
The rest seem to be OK that laws are OK to break!

John Lewis Needs Schooling on Constitution

Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) thinks the Constitution justifies Obamacare’s individual mandate that people must buy health insurance. Now according to Rep Lewis, the Constitution’s reference to the “pursuit of happiness” specifically justifies that mandate. There’s just one, BIG problem, the pursuit of happiness isn’t in the Constitution.
“Well, when you start off with the Preamble of the Constitution, you talk about the pursuit of happiness,”
That 'Pursuit of happiness" is in the Declaration of Independence, sir.

Lets take a further look at his comments, shall we?

"We require people to have auto insurance, state by state."
One note here, Rep Lewis... NOT everyone is required to purchase auto insurance. Those who don't drive and those who don't drive on public roads. It's a safety issue also.

”You go to the 14th Amendment–it’s equal protection under the law and we have not repealed the 14th Amendment.People have a right to have health care. It’s not a privilege but a right.”
Ummm, Sir, the 14th Amendments 'equal protection of the law' means no state can say 'This law protects you, but it doesn't protect your friend/mother/father/etc. Laws must be applied equally by the state.

The 14th Amendment: nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
OF the law, not BY or Under the law.
So there is nothing in the Constitution that says healthcare is a right

I think Rep Lewis needs to be schooled on the Constitution, folks

Done!

The Republican controlled House just passed a repeal of Obamacare.

They promised their constituency they would!
AND THEY DID!
Great!

The Repeal passed with a 245-189 margin, with three Democrats voting for repeal.
Reps. Mike Ross, Dan Boren and Mike McIntyre joined 242 Republicans to tell Obama, Pelosi and Reid NO!

Reid has already threaten to not allow it to come to the Senate floor.
That would signal to most Americans, who appose Obamacare, that he just doesn't care what you think.

Further damaging the Democratic party by putting them on record in the house vote.
But Reid is to much of a panty-waist to do what all Senators were elected to do. Vote on bills brought forth, as representatives of your constituents.

Some of the comments from the House leadership:
Speakers Boehner-The Congress can do better in terms of replacing Obamacare with common-sense reforms that will bring down the cost of health insurance and expand access for more Americans,"

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor-"I've got a problem with the assumption here that somehow the Senate can be a place for a legislation to go into a cul-de-sac or a dead end," he said. "The American people deserve a full hearing. They deserve to see this legislation go to the Senate for a full vote."

GOOD JOB, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!

Keeping it Simple: This is the Bills wording:
To repeal the job-killing health care law and health care-related provisions in the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ‘Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act’.
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF THE JOB-KILLING HEALTH CARE LAW AND HEALTH CARE-RELATED PROVISIONS IN THE HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION RECONCILIATION ACT OF 2010.
(a) Job-Killing Health Care Law- Effective as of the enactment of Public Law 111-148, such Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted.
(b) Health Care-Related Provisions in the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010- Effective as of the enactment of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Public Law 111-152), title I and subtitle B of title II of such Act are repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such title or subtitle, respectively, are restored or revived as if such title and subtitle had not been enacted.

Brits Might Move to a More Competition Style Healthcare System

As the debate begins on Capital Hill about Obamacare and the deep divide between most Democrats and Republicans on this issue, a new initiative is taking place across the pond.

British Prime minister David Cameron says he plans to open up their national Health Service to competition.

Cameron's plans to shake up Britain’s universal health care system that will transfer much decision making authority to general practitioners, and thus bypassing administrators to cut out bureaucracy.

“We need modernization on both sides of the equation. Modernization to do something about the demand for public health service, and modernization to make the supply of health care more efficient, which is about opening up the system, making it more competitive, cutting out waste and bureaucracy.”

But, like always, those who benefit from a socialized healthcare system complain the loudest. The unions!

Gail Cartmail, assistant general secretary of Unite, Britain's largest union doesn't agree with the reform.

“A great number of people are telling us that they think these untested, expensive health care reforms are very unwise and very, very risky,”.

And, like always, they point to some other country to make their point, but avoid the opinions of others to help save Great Britain's money in the long run.

“In Shanghai, the average child is two years ahead of a child here. In Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Austria, or, interestingly, Poland, you are less likely to die once admitted into hospital after a heart attack than you are in the U.K.”

UMMMM not to many children die from heart attacks………………. Poor talking point.

The government’s flagship health and social care bill will be published Wednesday.

So it appears that Great Britain might be moving in the direction of more freer market competition style of healthcare, while Obama’s America is moving towards a European style of healthcare system.
Go figure!

Lefty Threaten AZ Tea Party Leader

As reported on Gateway Pundit

While Trent was speaking at the event, an audience member screamed, “Trent Humphries, you’re dead!”

ABC News held a town hall event today in Tucson, Arizona. Local officials, friends and heroes were at the event. News anchor Christiane Amanpour was the host. The segment will air tomorrow. ABC gathered members from the Tucson community to discuss the tragic shooting last Saturday that wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and left 6 people dead.
State Representative Terri Proud was at the event sitting between Trent and the violent audience member. Terri was there to speak about the local gun laws. She described the scene to me just minutes ago:
Trent Humphries, the Pima County tea party leader, stood up to speak during the event. He was being very respectful. Trent told the audience that before we start placing blame on individuals we need to get all the facts. Trent then told everyone that one of those killed during the shooting was his neighbor and that he was affected like everyone else by the tragedy… While Trent was speaking- And it was planned that he would speak- One member in the audience and reportedly one of the victims of the tragedy started screaming, “Trent Humphries you’re dead!” The police immediately escorted him out. On his way out he screamed, “You’re all whores.”
The ABC producer said he was not sure if they will show incident tomorrow, or not.
Trent was finished with his statement and sat down. Terri said she was concerned since she was sitting right between Trent and this violent leftist. Trent sat down and ABC continued with the taping. Two police officers jumped in immediately to remove the violent leftist.
Trent Humphries has been receiving death threats all week since the national media and their leftist cohorts began blaming the tea party for the shooting by the leftwing pothead. Currently, government officials are checking his mail for him due to the threats.
Please keep Trent and his young family and all the Tucson tea party members in your thoughts and prayers.
UPDATE….. The unhinged leftist J. Eric Fuller was charged with threats and intimidation and he also will be charged with disorderly conduct.

This is the same guy that Mr Bruce Fealk commented on over at Bonsai From the Right yesterday to somehow justify his argument that the conservative right somehow was responsible for the Giffords shooting one week ago.
Looks like this guy and the rest of the Progressive nuts (including Mr Fealk) just can't except that there is no puzzle for which to connect the conservative right to Jared Loughner.
----------------------------UPDATE-------------------------
Another witness has come forward of what took place at this town hall event.

GOP Moves Closer to Conservatism

Yesterday the GOP got stronger with a move to stronger, younger conservatism by voting in a new GOP Chairman.

Out is Michael Steele.
Steele departing comment:
"At this time, I will step aside for others to lead. But in so doing, I hope y'all appreciate the legacy we leave. Despite the noise -- because lord
know we had a lot of noise -- despite the difficulties, we won."

In is Reince Priebus.

The Conservative Youth Movement is on!

From Real Clear Politics

OXON HILL, Md. -- Wisconsin Republican Party chair Reince Priebus ascended to the Republican National Committee chairmanship after seven rounds of voting by RNC members Friday.
One hundred sixty-eight committee members - a combination of state GOP party chairs and an RNC committeeman and committeewoman from each state - endured a long day of voting that ended in a passing of the torch from Michael Steele, who had two tumultuous years at the helm of the committee, to the youngest candidate, Priebus.

In a victory speech just after the vote was announced, Priebus noted that the GOP can now "move on to conservative candidates," a plank he stressed throughout his campaign.

Priebus had a more sweeping platform, arguing that the GOP needed to recognize that it has succeeded when it has promoted conservative candidates. He suggested at one debate that the party should hold its elected officials accountable to the party's tenets.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich acknowledged Priebus's work leading GOP candidates to victory in Wisconsin -- a major talking point for the new chairman, as the state has trended toward Democrats. Priebus helped to reverse that with the elections of Ron Johnson to the Senate and Scott Walker to the governor's chair.

Missouri Lt. Gov. Fights Obamacare and for Constitutional Rights

Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder addresses the general meeting of the Pachyderm Club of Gasconade County, MO on 01/06/2011.

Lt. Governor Peter Kinder (R) Missouri, began his presentation by speaking about the sweeping Republican victories both in Missouri and throughout the country and how these victories are directly related to the numerous Constitutional issues that have come out of Washington DC over the past 2 years.

Lt. Gov. Kinder spoke about the US Constitution’s 10th Amendment which explicitly states the Constitution's principle of federalism by providing that powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the states by the Constitution of the United States are reserved to the states or the people.

Lt. Gov. Kinder reminds the audience that “it was the States that created the Federal Government and not the other way around.” Lt. Gov. Kinder then and spoke of his debate, both of which took place in the same day, at Columbia University Law School and Yale University Law School with a debate topic of the Federal Health ‘Control’ Law (as Kinder refers to the Federal Health Care Law).

In each debate Kinder stood up for the “rights of the States and the rights of individuals and the rights in which 71% of Missourians in all 114 counties stood up for and voted for the Health Care ‘Freedom of Choice’ Act”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder goes on to say, “We here in Missouri were the first in the nation to get a chance to render our judgement on what they in Washington have been doing to us over the previous 15-18 months. And there have been many defining moments within that period. I see Senator McCaskill today has been trying to change her spots and get back towards the mainstream”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder went on to remind the audience of the Health Care Bill town hall meetings in August of ‘09 where Senator Claire McCaskill met with her constituents. “McCaskill’s constituents, who had read the Health Care Bill, and brought with them the Constitution, sited pages and sections of the HC Bill and demanded to know where in the Constitution is this HC Bill Constitutional . Lt. Gov. Kinder went on to remark on McCaskill’s reply to those in attendance at the town hall meeting: ‘what’s wrong, don’t you trust us?’

Lt. Gov. Kinder points out that , “The person who would ask that question has disqualified herself to be a United States Senator, because the answer was supplied not by anyone in that room that day, nor was it supplied by me, it was supplied by the founders. The Framers of the Constitution, James Madison, Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, and the rest, as Jefferson put it drawing on biblical wisdom out of the book of proverbs, ‘trust no man’, says the proverbs, ‘we will bind you down with the chains of the constitution’”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder goes on to say, “that is what they have gotten away from in Washington, DC under Nancy Pelosi. When she was ask about the Constitutional issues concerning the Health ‘Control’ Law, she laughed at the question, couldn’t believe it was serious, she showed her contempt for the question”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder describes what he told the audience during the debate at Columbia and Yale, “there is a great story that is illustrative of every point I’m trying to make here, from the revolutionary period when we were subjects of the British King in the American Colonies. In 1774, two years before the Declaration of Independence, we had the Stamp Act and in response the Colonists instituted a boycott of British Goods saying we are not going to buy British Goods. The legal advisor to the King advised the King and Parliament that the American Colonists were ‘within their rights’ to institute their boycott. Keep in mind; this came two years before our Declaration of Independence. That makes what I’m telling you an ‘original principle’ of the American founding.”

Lt. Gov. Kinder goes on with this revealing statement: “Before the founding we had the ‘right to boycott’ British Goods, that is to say, we can say to a King I’m not going to buy something that you want me to buy, be it Tea or anything else.”

“And so, fast forward to today, we have Congress lead by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and the President who have asserted powers over us to deny us rights that the King of England did not have the power to do when we were his subjects”.

“I said to that audience at Yale and my worthy opponent the distinguish Professor of Jurisprudence of the First Amendment , I guess you would have to go back to the Pharaohs of Egypt and the absolute Emperors and Sultans of the Middle East to find an absolute Monarch who could claim this kind of power that Nancy Pelosi, the President, Harry Reid and Claire McCaskill say they have.”

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder has filed suit against the Obama Health ‘Control’ Law and in his words, “In the law suit that I filed in the Rush H. Limbaugh Sr. Courthouse in Cape Girardeau, MO on behalf of all Missouri, but not suing as the State of Missouri, but as an individual citizen of Missouri and in my official capacity as Lt. Governor and joined by 5 other individual citizens in Missouri who each in their different way they say to the Federal Government ‘no you may not do this, your infringing on our rights, you’re going to ruin our health care, you’re going to lessen health care and lessen health care for special needs at-risk children, like the autistic boy who is one of my plaintiffs with his mother suing on his behalf, and the more elderly folks who are on Medicare Advantage and want to keep their Medicare Advantage and this will knock them off that and put them on Medicaid’.”

Lt. Gov. Kinder informs everyone, “My lawsuit is funded by generous private donors that will allow for this suit to go all the way to the United States Supreme Court and overturn this by Constitutionality.”

This law suit is Kinder v Geithner, Kinder v Holder, Kinder v Sebelius, and Kinder v Geithner et al.

“Who could have ever thought we would see this kind of radical transformation of our country that we have seen in the last 24 months”, Lt. Gov. Kinder says. “Who would have ever thought any Congress could pile up $5.7 Trillion debt since Pelosi has been Speaker of the House. If we had something to show for it that might be one thing. We do not. We have close to 10% unemployment. Yet, it’s been good for government jobs”.

“If they had taken the money and put in on payroll tax cuts for the employer and employees we would have a robust recovery going instead of the anemic one we have now. The American people understand that. These people in Washington DC do not”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder spoke of his trip to the White House two years ago, where he met the economic advisor to the Vice President , Jerrod Bernstein, who was also the Chairman of Middle Class Families. “I asked him how his Cap and Trade plan and doubling the cost of energy would help the people of Missouri? He had no real response except to say we need to do it.”

Lt. Gov. Kinder describes his personal belief of the current order within Washington as, “I’m a short term pessimist about what they are going to do to the country, but I’m a long term optimist when I see the reaction of Missourians at Claire McCaskill’s town hall meeting just a few months later”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder believes in welcoming and embracing our brothers and sisters in the Tea Party movement into the Republican cause because they want to limit government under a constitutional republic. He believes their natural home is the Republican Party.

“At the national level some of our people have disappointed them over the last 4 years”. Lt. Gov. Kinder states, “We have been given one more chance and our country has been given one more chance to stop the generational theft that has been going on, with the piling up of debt on our young people and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren not yet born”.

Further the Lt. Gov. states: “I am so heartened to see Congress beginning, as they did yesterday, with the speech by our new Speaker, John Boehner, that was marked by his remarkable humility. This is a humble man, who is serious about doing the people’s business. He said,’ it’s not about us here, it’s about The American people back home’”.

“And, today, they read the Constitution, and it infuriated the Democrats! The idea, it’s an affront to them (the Democrats). They view the Constitution as their Document, infinitely elastic, capable of finding new rights that never existed, like the right to kill unborn babies on a whim, rights that never resided there (in the Constitution) for many decades and centuries since our country’s existence, but which they have found since the last 3-4 decades”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder emphasizes; “this is not going to be the work of one year, and it is not going to be the work of one election cycle. I think our friends in the Tea Party are helping us realize that this was not just about the 2010 elections. If this precious thing we call ‘American Liberty’ means anything to us, it means that we have to stay in the fight, it means that some of us have to be willing to make the kind of sacrifices that we saw candidates make, like Dave Schatz (MO Rep 111 Dist.) and Dr. Dan Brown (MO Senate) make this year. They could both be home enjoying their families, enjoying leisurely life, Grandchildren, extended families, and other community activities of which we all like”.

“But they were willing to put it all on the line, like our American Colonists were, back in 1774 when they instituted the boycott against British Goods, like the Minutemen were in Lexington and Concord with shots heard around the world, like Washington’s Army at Valley Forge with that awful winter and the Christmas night when they attacked the British regiment at Trent, when he cross the Delaware”.

“They put it all on the line! A lot is being asked of us, but nothing as compared to what was asked of those men who walked in the snows, without shoes and you could see the trail of blood that exemplifies their sacrifice”.

Referring to the Republican’s current victory and political position, Kinder states, “This is a battle that is worth waging, it is worth waging for another election cycle through 2012, to consolidate and build on the gains just achieved this time. To return our nation to its Constitutional moorings and to do so right here in the Great State of Missouri that showed the country the way with our vote in August with the Health Care Freedom of Choice Act”.

Lt. Gov. Kinder believes if we do not step up and fight Washington DC and vindicate our Constitution principles and stop this Health ‘Control ‘Law, there will be no limiting principle left in the federal government that a misguided majority can do to Americans. The federal government could pass a law that states you must by a certain car brand and that brand only. Lt. Gov. Kinder suggests federal government could then fine Americans for not buying and eating asparagus or broccoli.

Lt. Gov. Kinder asks, “Where is the ‘limiting principle’ if they can fine you for not buying health insurance on some crack pot theory of what might happen 20 or 30 years from now if you don’t?”

“Apparently, there is no limit to their theory. So our cause is about getting us get back to those Constitutional moorings, getting us back to the principles in the Constitution that were explained in the Federalist Papers by Madison, Hamilton and further explained elsewhere by Thomas Jefferson and the other founders”.

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder states that all he has said tonight is his personal motivation for being a leader in the fight against the Health ‘Control’ law and will continue to speak before audiences like the Pachyderm Club for at least the next 2 years, throughout the State of Missouri.

The Triangulation of Dots- Just Not There

What is it with some on the progressive left?

They’re so desperately trying to connect the dots between the assassination attempt of Representative Giffords, Jared Loughner and the political right like Sarah Palin, Michael Bachman, Tea Party Patriots, Rush and Fox News opinion shows and conservatives, for their so called ‘hate speech’.

Let’s look at these ‘dots’, shall we?

Dot 1: Rep Giffords: Here we have an elected official who was out pounding the pavement, and talking with her constituency about todays everyday issues. She was, at one point, a Republican, but changed parties just a few years ago. Fine, great, no problem. She is considered a Blue Dog Dem. Most folks on the right tend to agree with some of a Blue Dogs opinions and principles. So no real problem there.

Dot 2: Political Right: You then have the political right, who by most accounts, again, have no real political issue with Representative Giffords. Maybe her vote on Obamacare, and other intrusive policy. But for the most part they can work with her. Nothing, from this bloggers standpoint, have I seen any vile attacks that could be even remotely considered ‘hate speech’ lobbed towards Rep Giffords from the conservative right.

Dot 3: Jared Loughner : Here you have an individual who is deranged in some form or another, and as Charles Krauthammer put it last night, ‘He, by all accounts of his behavior brought forth to this day, is a classic Paranoid Sycophantic.’ By the way, Krauthammer, is a license psychologist. It has been reported by many who know, or have known Jared that he holds no political views and also is a registered independent that dabbles in devil-worshipper in some form, along with being Anti-Flag / Anti-Global economy. And at this point there is NO proof he read anything from Sarah, Rush, Sean, Bill, me, etc.. or ANYONE.

So three dots. 1 & 2 that connect, 1 and 3 that have connected, but no connection of all 3.

So what could this be that the progressive left is up to?

Could only be what Bunni at Amuzing Bunni commented on her blog yesterday. “liberal smear machine”

Liberal Smear Machine is a full-scale demonization campaign against conservatives, free speech, and the Second Amendment. Many have jumped on the bandwagon to silence the likes of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck.

And if you are conservative, you’re next.

As I see it, it is an attempt by the progressive left to triangulate this incident in hopes to win the debate the progressives have come to realize they are losing with the American people.

Many of my conservative blogger friends have chosen not to post on this whole situation with Rep Giffords shooting and the progressive smear campaign against conservatism.

Why? I don’t know. And that’s OK, I have chosen to fight back, indirectly on their behalf.

Independent O'Reilly Blast Irresponsible Media

As mentioned in my previous posts, the left has unfairly attacked and are laying blame, indirectly, at the feet of those who are not, well, like them, and its at a fever pitch, about the Representative Giffords shooting.

And Bill O'Reilly let some of the media have it last night, and rightly so.
Without a shred of evidence of the shooters political motives, if any exists at this point, the likes of the NY Times and MSNBC pick up their political stick and start whacking away.
Now admittedly, some on the right have also done this, but not within the media, but on some blogs, which I have refrained from following that lead.
What drives liberal media passion to attack?

Time to end these kind of attack!

Democrat Will Introduce Bill "Targeting" Speech

As Chris from Bonsai from the Right commented yesterday on our post 'Left Begin Their Attacks On AZ Tragedy' that free speech (1st amendment) will be under attack. Well it turns out he was right.

And Rep Robert Brady reasoning to introduce this bill, is the same over reactions as the Democrats base supporters are... And that is Sarah Palin famous "Election Campaign Map." (These people need to get a life)

From CNN
Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pennsylvania, said he will introduce legislation making it a federal crime for a person to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a Member of Congress or federal official.
Brady’s decision to offer the legislation comes less than 24 hours after a gunman attempted to assassinate Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Arizona, in a shooting that claimed the lives of a federal judge, and a nine year-old girl, among others.
“The president is a federal official,” Brady said in a telephone interview with CNN. “You can’t do it to him; you should not be able to do it to a congressman, senator or federal judge.
“This is not a wake up call, this is major alarms going off,” he said.
Brady is particularly incensed over a web posting by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin during the 2010 election in which she targeted 20 House Democrats, including Giffords for political defeat. The posting showed a map of the United States with the 20 Democratic congressional districts identified by gun sights.
“You can’t put bulls eyes or crosshairs on a United States congressman or a federal official,” Brady said. “I understand this web site that had it on there is no longer in existence. Someone is feeling a little guilty.”
So even though we DON'T know whether this guy had any political motive, the Dems knee jerk reaction is to introduce a bill to stop free speech and Sarah Palin (or anyone) from using certain words and images.
Your [1st] is under attack!!!

Left Begin Their Attacks On AZ tragedy

Sad! So sad that right out of the gate that some Democrats and the left try a politicizes yesterday horrific and tragic events in Tucson Arizona.

From Politico:
One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”
I would like to know WHO this Democrat is and expose his/her over-reaction as heated rhetoric.
The TPP has come out and strongly denounced what took place.

Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both “take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.”
This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.
So, before ANY evidence is brought forth, the left and someone identifying themselves as a Democrat, accuses the indirect responsibility on those who evoke an opinion, or report their discovery through investigative journalism, that some how the rhetoric caused Jared Loughner to commit this crime.
WTF!
Read on

Not long after the shooting, at about 10:10 a.m. in Arizona, some took to Twitter to note that Sarah Palin had targeted Gifford in symbolic crosshairs

Now, to even suggest such a thing, or put an idea in to some ones head, as some of the left did yesterday, is totally irresponsible unto itself.
Talk about over heated rhetoric.
Complete BS!!!

“Today we have seen the results” of “irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric,” former Democratic senator and presidential candidate Gary Hart wrote on Huffington Post.
Proof of the attempt to point the crosshairs at political debate over the internet shows Hart has had a knee jerk reaction with nothing to back it up, but more political banter.

WE JUST DON'T KNOW JARON POLITICS AT THIS POINT!
BUT, just a reminder of what Claire McCaskill's said just a few, short, months ago....

AND THE PRESIDENTS COMMENTS:

** Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
** Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
** Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat
** Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
** Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
** Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”

SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!
