Lies, Lies, Lies

Interior Secretary Salazar presents Obama with falsified recommendation report on the Gulf six month drilling moratorium (Old News that needs to be revisited):

The seven experts who advised President Obama on how to deal with offshore drilling safety after the Deepwater Horizon explosion are accusing his administration of misrepresenting their views to make it appear that they supported a six-month drilling moratorium — something they actually oppose.

The experts, recommended by the National Academy of Engineering, say Interior Secretary Ken Salazar modified their report last month, after they signed it, to include two paragraphs calling for the moratorium on existing drilling and new permits.
Salazar’s report to Obama said a panel of seven experts “peer reviewed” his recommendations, which included a six-month moratorium on permits for new wells being drilled using floating rigs and an immediate halt to drilling operations.
“None of us actually reviewed the memorandum as it is in the report,” oil expert Ken Arnold told Fox
News. “What was in the report at the time it was reviewed was quite a bit different in its impact to what there is now. So we wanted to distance ourselves from that recommendation.”

Interior Secretary Salazar should be investigated by the DOJ because falsifying official documents incurs felony charges for 1st-degree tampering with public records, 1st-degree offering of a false instrument for filing, 4th-degree grand larceny, and 1st-degree falsifying of official records.

Wow, seems like deju vu, but i can't remember what other lies were presented to make the governments case for doing something.... Man, this is going to bother me all day. It was a big one too. On National television more than once....Damn its right on the tip of my tongue.

Something about 16 words, Joe Wilson, Nigeria and an appearance before the United Nations. I'll remember when i'm away from the computer. Oh well.

Aw Joe, you just cannot resist past absurdities by the lame-stream-media can you?

Plame was NOT a covert CIA agent at the time (proven)and that is referred to as "formerly".

Wilson did go to Nigeria (not disputed) and had a grudge, hence the op-ed.

And Scooter Libby was falsly convicted being it was Richard Armitage and Robert Novak (press) who mentioned the former agent.

No wrong-doing whatsoever, period.

Joe loves to live in the past, Christopher. Bet he misses Bush more then we do, but for other reasons. :))

I think Joe was referring to the lie: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman",
until his spunk showed up!
