Yes the Conservatives Conservative, Ronald Wilson Reagan, the gipper would have been 100 years old today.
So in honor of the Gipper, I will list some of my favorite quotes by one of our greatest Presidents to ever grace the halls of the Whitehouse.

Ron Reagan the man who made abortions legal, who signed into law the largest peacetime tax increase, who granted amnesty to illegal immigrants, and all those other largely republican issues.

Of course the liberal left mistakenly call the Tax Reform Act of 1986 an increase, when it was revenue natural.

But he did get us out of the Carter years mess. You know Carter, the second worst president, next to Obama. :)
The Amesty program was suppose to be a one time shot and Congress was to fix the illegal immigration problem, of which they did not do!
This is why, today, America is faced with the same situation. Because of the historical inaction by Congress most Americans don't want any amnesty 'before' fixing the problem, so we don't have to face this again.
Was Reagan right in working with the Dems back then concerning immigration? No, he got screwed. Just shows when you try to work with Dems it doesn't work they way they said it would.
