Liberals Support Muslims, But Not Christians!

You've most likely have heard this before, that Liberals have 'swiftly' endorsed the building of a Mosque in New York City a couple of blocks away from Ground Zero.

What you probably have not heard is that Christians, for the past nine years, have been trying to 'rebuild' their church on the corner of Greenwich and Liberty across from ground zero...but have been tied up in red tape by government officials.

The church is St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which had been standing on the same site since 1922. St. Nicholas was completely destroyed by the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9-11-01 after Muslim Terrorists flew passenger jets into both of the Twin Towers.
In addition, this same church lost members of the congregation in the 9/11 attack.
Here is a link to read more about the church and their situation:
For nine years these Christians have been denied by our government, but the Muslims who have not condemned or spoke out against Muslim terrorists get a swift approval by our government to finally capture the spoils of their hatred and squat on sacred American ground.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg says: Muslims are as much a part of our city and our country as the people of any faith. And they are as welcome to worship in lower Manhattan as any other group. In fact, they have been worshiping at the site for better, the better part of a year, as is their right."
Bloomberg goes on to call the Mosque opposition 'bigots'.
Then to add even more insult to this blasphemy, America's own President Obama chooses sides and chooses to endorse the Muslims. As saying: "Muslims have the right to build near ground zero."
Florida's Governor, Charlie Crist, also weighs in and supports Obama's comments. saying " I think he's right - I mean you know we're a country that in my view stands for freedom of religion and respect for others, I know there are sensitivities and I understand them. This is a place where you're supposed to be able to practice your religion without the government telling you you can't."
Obama, Crist, wasn't Christians that blew the hell out of 3000 innocent average everyday hard working Americas. Christians are helping people all over the world, including this country. Why aren't you supporting St. Nicholas' effort to rebuild, as much as you are supporting the Muslims?
But I guess the bigger question is, who should Obama support...the Americans who elected him to the highest office in America or his own people, the Muslims? Hmm, tough choice!
It has never been more clearer as to just who Obama is. One thing is for certain, as every day passes he becomes less of America's President and more of America's foe.

Good post Mark!

Thanks for the heads-up on this as you made me aware of this as previously I was not.

I am a Christian born into the Roman Catholic tradition but no longer affiliated with the Church. That stated I have a very high regard for the Eastern Rite of Orthodox Catholosism which I have known to be closer to that of Christiantity and find this news very disturbing to be sure.

Thanks for the link and keep it up my friend, we must never relent in our battle, yes I said battle, to take our Nation back!

Christopher, as much as I would LOVE to take credit for this, this post was from my ever endowed patriot side kick, Adams Patriot. He deserves ALL the credit here.

Nice Post, AP!!!!!!!

This is a great find, AP!!!! I would love to shove this in the face of Obama and Bloomberg.
They don't get it. Or they do and are to afraid to face the reality of our times.
The only one who does in that state, on that side of the fence, is their Governor. He has the influence over Bloomberg.

The thank you is sincere, it matters not where or whom the info came from so long as it accurate.

All of us bloggers must get the knowledge out that the MSM will not.

This issue I believe with husseins comments on it have sealed his fate.

Chris said...

Right on Christopher. We all have to get the word out. This isn't about right and left with these liberals any more. It's about good and evil. If it'sa in the Bible the liberals/Democrats go against it. It's that clkear cut. And that isn't an accident it's by design.

AND here is another piece of information which helps to show the 'thinking' of the Muslim Mosque supporters....THE NAME OF THE MOSQUE was
'Cordoba', that is before Americas found out just what the name means.

Here is a post from

A mosque by any other name: Ground Zero mega-mosque group ditches name redolent of Islamic supremacism
The name "Cordoba" has been marketed to gullible Americans as being a place where Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived in harmony and peace, but actually Medieval Muslim Spain enforced the dhimma and systematically oppressed the Jews and Christians, and was the site of a Muslim pogrom against the Jews in the year 1011 -- 1000 years before this mega-mosque is slated to open.

Maybe enough people caught on to the name's bitter irony, and the deceivers decided it was best deep-sixed.

"Cordoba House mosque near Ground Zero slaps new name on itself with Park51," by Samuel Goldsmith for the New York Daily News, July 14 (thanks to all who sent this in):

The Cordoba House is now Park51.
Developers behind the controversial 13-story Islamic community center and prayer space near Ground Zero announced Tuesday a bland new name for the project.

Spokesman Oz Sultan said the new name puts emphasis on the community center aspect of the project rather than religion.

The name was derived from the address of the planned new building, 51 Park Place....

Here's some back up video of our government blocking the rebuilding of St. Nicholas:

As Chrystia Freeland, global editor-at-large for Reuters said today... "Another way of talking about that is leadership, conviction, having your beliefs and not governing according to polls. And I think if you ask most Americans what kind of leader you want, if you ask people in the world what kind of leader do you want, you want someone who governs according to conviction….for American leaders to say in the face of, you know, some political pressure from their voters, to say actually we believe sufficiently strongly in diversity, in private property rights for our Muslim citizens, I think that’s a great global message."

Put of course the loony left are NOT listening to the debate. It's NOT about property rights.
Do you think that maybe the reason people have been yelling at townhalls throughout the country over the past year is because their elected Reps ARE NOT LISTEN TO THOSE YOU PUT THEM IN TO OFFICE?

Michelle Obama's Allah-day

Why was Michelle Obama spreading "stimulus" money during her sheik-like holiday in Spain? Do you suppose Barack Hussein Obama told her he can't get re-elected without the votes of Hispanics who aren't American citizens and she thought he meant the non-American Hispanics living in Spain?
At least those foreigners are much better than "voters" in American cemeteries!
BTW, in 1928 Herbert Hoover's campaign promised that if he were elected there would be "a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage."
Well, Obama has come up with a Hoover twist and says that if he's re-elected there will be "a chick in every car and some pot in every garage"!
For some insights into Obamessiah and his think-alikes, Google "Obama Avoids Bible Verses," "Obama Supports Public Depravity," "Government-Approved Illegals," and "Imam Bloomberg's Sharia Mosque."
Have you noticed that America's "Christian" president has favorites? See search engines including Google and type in "Obama Favors Islam Over Christianity." If minority groups in America keep getting special "status," will the USA become known as the United Status of America?
I wonder how soon Obama will "come out" and admit he's a Muslim!

(Am a patriot, saw above item on the net - Art)

Unknown said...

Thanks, Art for your input. You make some great points here.
And I hope we don't end up calling our nation 'United Status of America'
It's quite clear to me now that Obama has no faith in Christianity and looks to favor Islam over the majority of Americans faith.

Come back any time. We appreciate the input.

Christopher, I know it was sincere, I am sure my cohort thanks you for your sincerity. Spread the word is indeed a necessity.

I wasn't aware that I along with many other liberals ran the Port Authority. Now that i know that its me thats holding it up i assure you i will make this happen.

All kidding aside, surely someone like yourself can see the difference between getting a Church rebuilt in ground zero and remodeling a existing building 2 blocks away for a community center?

What should be happening is that you should be reaching out with your information to all of us and asking us to help in any way possible, instead of attacking us. And you should be supporting both endeavors as you wish to see America's freedoms shine. I am constantly amazed when people wish to deny freedoms and then call themselves patriots, like you do. There's nothing patriotic about what your doing.

Ray said...

Ya know I heard this over the weekend and couldn't believe it's not been held up as another reason why this thing should never even have been considered.

The entire port authority there is as crooked as they come, should be dismantled as the foot dragging down there on Ground Zero has been beyond a disgrace to Americans and the victims.

That alone is a trophy to Islam itself.

I think Bloomberg needs to be investigated deeply for his support of this after he's voted from office, then tried for treason against the people of New York, the victims of 911 and America as well for that matter.

Then it's on to Obama.

Unknown said...

Ray, I just read that just about every liberal with in the beltway is for the building of the Mosque at that location and nearly 70% of those outside the beltway disagree with its location. And the numbers are growing because of this Park51/Cordoba smoke screen.
I have not weighed in on this, much, for fear I might say something I shouldn't about those in the beltway. LOL.

AdamsPatriot said...

@JoeC, Your comment; "I wasn't aware that I along with many other liberals ran the Port Authority. Now that i know that its me thats holding it up i assure you i will make this happen".

I'm glad to hear of your support for getting the church built. I hope you can straighten out the Port Authority. You know the same Port Authority (PA) that is run by 6 Board Members 'Appointed by the Governor of New York ' David Patterson (D) aswellas the prior Governor, the honorable Eliot Spitzer (D).

These board members serve 6 year terms and the commissioners typically are big business types and political power brokers who have a very close relationship with the Governor.

While the current PA Executive Director has a Republican background that does not mean he isn't a liberal. We know of many RINOs in the Repbulican party now adays.

For years the PA has long had a lack of democratic accountability and ehtics.

You said: All kidding aside, surely someone like yourself can see the difference between getting a Church rebuilt in ground zero and remodeling a existing building 2 blocks away for a community center?

Yes, I can see the difference. The difference is the St. Nicholas Church OWNS the property and has been there since 1922. For NINE years they have been DENIED to rebuild! (Wouldn't you be a little upset if someone blew up your house and the government took NINE years to still not give you approval to rebuild on your OWN property?)

But here comes the Muslims and they want to buy someones elses property and build their Mosque, of which they do not have funding for yet, and the LIBERALS fall all over themselves to approve the project.

One last thing, the developer of the Mosque plan to TEAR DOWN the existing building and rebuild...not remodel the current one.

You said: What should be happening is that you should be reaching out with your information to all of us and asking us to help in any way possible, instead of attacking us.

I presume by that statement you are not only a liberal but one that takes every negative comment about liberals personally. Now you know what a person invloved with the TEA PARTY feels when liberals claim the TEA PARTY people are racist. Those racist comments by the left typically follows when a racist lefty infiltrates the demonstration.

You said: And you should be supporting both endeavors as you wish to see America's freedoms shine.

The post did not state anything other thatn the imbalance of the GOVERNMENT by not approving the St. Nicholas' Project. You insinuation that I do not support Muslims is and assumption by typical lefties who attack when one speaks out about another other point of view.

I support freedoms and the Consitution and all that is good and wholesome.
I do not support the Ideology of the left because it follows no law made by man nor God.

Adams i understand the hold-up is stupid and part of a never ending govt red tape that ground zero is involved in it bothers me also. I am fed up with the stalling, the bullshit.

I can see why good thoughtful people would take offense to the whole tea party being called "racists" as i don't think that 95 percent of them are outright racists. Nothing I've read from you or Mark here has been, but there are posters here that do show an insensitivity that leads me to believe they are. And when those posters are defended and even lauded over some highly questionable sayings and posts, then it makes me wonder about them too.

To me the cultural center is a non-issue. As the mosques in Knoxville, Temecula and other parts of the country that are being protested. They have a RIGHT to buy that property and use it how they will. And when i see the tea party and other conservative groups start protesting multiple cities and areas thousands of miles from Ground Zero it becomes obvious that they are not interested in upholding the RIGHTS of the people.

Just like with Mark's believe that I'm not a real American, these things are deeply unpatriotic and anti-American.

Unknown said...

Joe, I SAID TRADITIONAL, REAL AMERICAN.... Did I type that large enough for you to read it NOW?

Funny, whenever we speak of GZ and this mosque and how an overwhelming majority feel it shouldn't be built right there, the left tune that out.
Why is that?

Case in point:
30% of the American people SAY this:
-They have a legal right to built the mosque there.

70% of the American people SAY this:
-No ones denying that. It is insensitive and demeaning to the American people who died there and to their families, and to Americans people, who suffered from the acts of the radicals of the faith of Islam, that carried out the actions of 9/11. That Ground Zero is a memorial to the loss of American lives on that fateful day.

The President of the United States of American finally weighs in and says:
-They have a legal right.
But then the next day says:
-I was not commenting on, NOR will I comment on the wisdom of where the mosque wants to be built.

Why is that? Why won’t he comment on whether it is, or is not a good idea? Is it because he doesn’t want to insult the Muslim faith if he thinks it’s a bad idea?
If so, what kind of President would not comment on the REAL issue?
ANd what kind of President would not stand with a majority of his “fellow Americans” and express the same?

So now, Joe for the last time, acknowledge this last statement:
Are you tuned in to the issue now???

Anonymous said...

Mark, you can't legislate good taste.

the president was within his rights to say they have a legal right and leave it at that. He's not the immoral police.

I thought you guys were the states rights party. The state has had its say and it will be built. Now because you don't like it, your going to abandon your beliefs to blame the federal govt/president for not interfering?

You know your all rinos. every single last one of ya. given the chance you'd elect big government the rightwing style. Sure you wouldn't call it that, but there it would be. We wouldn't have socialism, but we'd have moralism. Big government.

The Feds deciding all sorts of things. Who can marry, who can adopt, welfare for corps all of it. Thats why i voted for Rick Snyder and will do again in the fall. Cuz i'm just trading one big government for another. Maybe he'll be more libertarian than all those other rino's.

There's no liberty in either party and their damn sure ain't none in the Tea party, that bag of freaks. I've lived through both of em.

Its my lack of liberty vs. your lack of liberty.

@ Mark:
I don't know why you bother responding to JoeC. He is a typoical liberal who can't stay on track to just what the post is about...liberals in the government not supporting Christians.

Liberals typically will twist the subject to get off track and when they are loosing the debate they will revert to name calling as we have seen with this guy.

Liberals do not support Christians and it is well documanted over the years.

JoeC speaks in generalities that have to do with liberal 'feelings' and ideology. His comments have nothing to do with facts, as liberals don't care about facts. If they did care about facts they would loose the debate everytime.

JoeC has twisted this debate so far away from where it started that it causes one to constantly be frustrated over the insanity of the comments that come from liberals.

This guy is just like the liberals in Washington DC that are ruining America. November will come and we will see how many of them are left, then we'll see just who takes to the streets with their signs.

By the way JoeC, I expect that you and all your liberal friends will be so happy under the rule of the Muslim laws. Speaking of rights? Kiss them goodbye!

Unknown said...

And once again, Joe does not address the real issue and tries to start a debate that those on the right are against liberty when the debate is one of understanding for the American people and the loss of American life. There you go Joe, you proved my point on two fronts. Not listening to the real issue (like Obama) and not a traditional, real American who cares about his fellow Americans who died and their surviving loved ones and who suffer in heart each day because of radical Islam.

Unknown said...

Yep, I agree David, they always find a way to be opposed to the majority of Americans and won't acknowledge this issue.
I happen to agree with the Governor of NY, a Dem, who gets the issue and wants to find a solution. I don't agree with his politics, but this has nothing to do with that.
Its all about (for them) not do insult Islam... But Christians are another story... for them.
