Despite Ruth Bader Ginsburg who said last week, to those attending her University of Charo speech, that Egypt should embrace a South African Constitution vs a US Constitution, WE think OUR constitution stands mountains above the rest.
Despite Obama's comment during the pre-super bowl interview that "Our founders design a system that makes it more difficult bringing about change I would like sometimes." We feel it necessary to keep our founding documents embraced with in our lives to the fullest.
Or despite Nancy Pelosi approval of Obama's end around on the Constitution on recess appointments by Obama, we still stand tall and say NO YOU CANNOT!
Or despite Nancy Pelosi approval of Obama's end around on the Constitution on recess appointments by Obama, we still stand tall and say NO YOU CANNOT!
We will continue to follow the path of freedom of our founding fathers.

That sounds like a threat to me. The military knows what to do if you neo-cons revolt.
Justice Scalia had the best take:
“The bill of rights of the former evil empire, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, was much better than ours,” he said, adding: “We guarantee freedom of speech and of the press. Big deal. They guaranteed freedom of speech, of the press, of street demonstrations and protests, and anyone who is caught trying to suppress criticism of the government will be called to account. Whoa, that is wonderful stuff!”
“Of course,” Justice Scalia continued, “it’s just words on paper, what our framers would have called a ‘parchment guarantee.’ ”

RE; Anon,
I cannot speak for the author but will say to his word's and your reply from my perspective, that is not a threat but rather a promise.
Food for thought,,,,
Remember, folks who drafted the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and supporting Federalist Papers defeated the most powerful military known to the world at that time.
Kurt, Thanks for the link.
One thing I caught from it was this "But the Constitution is out of step with the rest of the world in failing to protect, at least in so many words, a right to travel, the presumption of innocence and entitlement to food, education and health care." I would point the author AND the law professor to the 10th Amendment "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
You have a right to food. Buy it.
You have a right to education, Buy it.
You have a right to healthcare. Buy it.
Open your front door and begin your travels.
Nothing stops you from enacting your "entitlement" to this these, as long as you can trade for it.
Anon "The military knows what to do"
Yes they do, to protect and defend liberty, the nation and it's people, as civilians have actual power over the military. Art 2; Sec 2.
Thanks, Christopher. To add to that, a 310M person force, is nothing to mess with.
Anon, didn't even have balls enough to post his name. That's why I have no respect for people like that!
Long live the Republic!!! It will stand or we will die fighting for it! Give me liberty or give me death!
Anon's are nothing but a punch of wimps anyways. No matter if they are OWS types, or not.
They have no nads to come out from behind their monitors, nor their mothers basement, Bill of Rights.
