Criminal Dean Speaks at Netroots

Lowlights of Howard Dean’s speech at the Nutroots 2011 Convention in Minneapolis.

-"...Van Jones where HE thinks we ought to go, we’ll hear from him tomorrow."
Yeah, like Communism for America?

-"This is not about Electing the President"
Can you say, throw Obama under the bus?

-…"The Hate Wing of the republican party and stop using fear…. The future is ours, it doesn’t belong to the Tea Party, over 55, white and Christian,"
TALK about throwing grandma under the bus.
And isn’t Dean over 55, white, Christian, etc, etc.

“The future belongs to a diverse group of human beings."
The Tea Party IS a diverse group of people, Young, Old, White, Black, Men, Woman, Republican, Independents, disenchanted Democrats…Can’t get much diverse then that!

-“We did not get here by worrying about what was happening in Washington, but was happening in America.”
Really, then what was all the Bush bashing talk for all of his 8 years about?

-“It’s not about politics, it’s about keeping our promise to ourselves.”
See how Dean tries to turn the youth away from Obama’s politics and making it about them by literally saying “Pay no attention to that person behind the curtain, Obama is the great and powerful Oz”

This ones a hoot:
-It’s going to come from grassroots organization like the “Federation of American Teachers and SEIU”

“I don’t want to ignore politics, we need to transcend politics. There is something in this country that is bigger than all of us.. and it isn’t Government”
Another fine example of Dean trying to take the focus off Obama and the Dems as being what they are, Socialist.

This goes right along with the strategy of the Dems in 2008. And that is to ignore Obama’s past and experience… Now ignore his record.

Nice fisking, Mark!

This is a good sign. The Nutroots are living in the past, while the tea party is focused on the future. It's no contest.

Thanks, Silver.
Their minions are blind as bats. A lot of youth just don't care about politics, and yes I can understand that. But to blindly except at face value that YOUTH should except the Democrats goal as just transcending politics to everyday life, shows a lack of conscience on dangerous policy that could forever change their own liberty and freedom.

Appropriate Quote for this post:

"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams
