Hey Mark, This is widely known information at least in intelligent thinking circles and really should be obvious to most by now.
The problem lies in entitlements, the poor do not care that they are poor in a majority of the cities you list so long as what they receive from the government is "free" to them.
The concept of personal responsibility is lost on these souls do to institutionalized and generational cradle to grave welfare. Even when you have one poor person on a block in a city such as listed who strives for independence and financial freedom they are out-numbered by at least 100-1 and that is not counting the prison population that in some states can vote.
We need to keep reminding people of these facts. Democrats are not for helping the poor. Just look at the facts.
well, nice anecdotal evidence. Of course that proves your theories. LMAO.Whens the last time a Republican ran for mayor of Detroit?
We can hold up Detroit and blame liberal voting patterns, but white flight and the movement of manufacturing jobs away from the city have driven the collapse, not voting for liberals.
Joe, 1967 riots and Colman Young(D) drove out business and jobs.
You just refuss to see this pattern.
Like Chris said, Christopher. We need to keep reminding people of these facts.
"concept of personal responsibility is lost on these souls"
Point well take, I also agree on that point.
Great post, Mark. It figures all the horrid cities have had demotards controlling them for centuries. I'm surprised Chicago isn't on there, it soon will be, no doubt.
Tell me about it Bunni. Did you catch thou, that DeadFish Rahm has been kicked of the Feb ballot?
Hope the State SC upholds that.
Mark, wow first you blame the Dems and now you blame the black residents of Detroit.
Wow, Joe. you first inject race in to this discussion but commenting on 'White Flight' then accuse me of blaming it on race...???
Your typical liberal retort. Draw race in to the equation.
Nice try on that spin, Joe, but I never injected any such thing in to this.
Joe - 'but white flight'
and 'now you blame the black residents of Detroit'.
Your comments suggest whites and race are to blame for Detroit's demise and you seem to insinuate Mark's comment is racist.
However, this post did not specifically state or insinute race as a factor, you brought that into this post.
This post did call out the 'Political' position of the cities' leadership and that the 'poor' inhabit these cities.
News Flash:
There are White and Black poor people living in Detroit.
There were White and Black Democrat Mayors in Detroit.
There were Whites and Blacks involved in nthe rioting in '67...
'The crimes reported to police like looting, arson, and sniping took place in many different specific areas of Detroit: on the west side of Woodward Avenue, extending from the 12th Street neighbourhood to Grand River Avenue, and as far south as Michigan Avenue and Trumbull, near Tiger Stadium. East of Woodward, the area around East Grand Boulevard, which goes east/west then north/south to Belle Isle, was involved. However, the entire city was affected between Sunday, July 23 and Thursday, July 27. A citywide curfew was enacted, sales of alcohol and firearms were prohibited, and business activity downtown was informally curtailed in recognition of the serious civil unrest engulfing sections of the city.[citation needed] Blacks and whites both participated in the rioting.'
Perhaps you should google your thoughts before making any comments, and when your going to take things out of context then don't make the comments.
A guy in one of the previous posts told me to 'ask for the context' and to research for what a person 'means' before calling them something they aren't.
But of course that advice was meant only for other people not for him!
Joe are you saying that when the whites left the city to the black that is what screwed up the city? It sounds like you are still blaming this on blacks but in a roundabout way, by blamming the whites for leaving the city to the blacks. Your true colors always come out Joe. I guess if you refussd to look at liberal politics then you have to look at blaming color instead.
