The video below shows Scott Walker giving a speech at the opening ceremonies of the Wisconsin Special Olympics, and public unions decided it was a good place to bring their grievances towards the Governor by disrupting his speech to these special people.
These unions are the lowest of the lowest . Was this the best place to protest? IS this the place to protest, in front of these handicapped people who really don't understand what THEIR message is all about. The Special Olympians just wanted to compete and have fun.
As far as I am concerned, the Wisconsin Public Unions have one message. "We are not the brightest bunch, are we!"
The Wisconsin Republicans Senators have pulled a fast one over their Democrat colloquies.
They have striped the collective bargaining language from the Budget bill, crafted a new, non-budget bill that will not allow collective bargaining by state public unions.
They marched on to the Senate floor, and PASSED IT!
Union members have stormed the Capital building, over powering the security force and are currently in side the build screaming at a fever pitch.
Will they riot? Time will tell.
The sympathetic public union Senators had their chance.
They decided to act like children and run away.
This is what you get for not doing your job.
--------------------------------Update------------------------------- Ann Althouseand husband “Meade” are reporting the latest developments at the Wisconsin Capitol Building.
"Protesters are locking the Capitol doors shut from the inside using metal handcuffs, Meade reports from the scene.
He told me that just now, by phone. He got out, and is warning others not to go in. Obviously, it’s a terrible fire hazard to make it so people cannot get out of the building easily. Presumably, protesters think it’s a good idea to keep the police out, but it is dangerously stupid."
Then the State Police showed up and things got heated. Police followed their orders to keep these ruffians out and ordered protesters back. but in this video you hear one of the liberal unionist ordering the police.
Another person on twitter called for the shooting of Governor Walker.
Before the NFC Championship game, Governor Pat Quinn made a bet with Governor Walker of Wisconsin that if the Bears lost the game, he would volunteer at the Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin food distribution center to fulfill his losing wager with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, wearing a Packers jersey, and Walker placed the same bet, except, obviously wearing a Bears jersey.
But Quinn has backed out of his bet, for now.
Quinn's reasoning, “In light of the very serious issues that the state of Wisconsin is trying to work through right now, the governor felt the timing was not necessarily ideal and that it would be more appropriate to find a better date,” Quinn spokeswoman Annie Thompson said.
To top it off, it was never planned that both Governors would appear together at the food bank.
Please, when does helping to feed the hungry get under cut by a politics?
To top it off, Quinn is appreciative of the 14 Wisconsin Democrat Senators of staying, dinner, and enjoying Illinois fine hotel establishments "as long as they need to be here"
