What the Media is Not Reporting

Why is the media not reporting this?

HR 107 (PDF) has been drafted and submitted to the US house of Representatives to bring forth an article of impeachment upon Barack Obama.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
M ARCH 7, 2012
Mr. JONES submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred
to the Committee on the Judiciary.

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive
military force by a President without prior and clear
authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable
high crime and misdemeanor under article II,
section 4 of the Constitution.

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring
Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I,
section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore,
be it.
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

The article of impeachment was the result of the failure of President Obama to obtain congressional approval to enter our military in to war in Libya.

The press can't have elected officials taking constitutional stands messing up the reelection of their hero...

Mess with the Press' Constitutional freedoms and then watch the press scream!
To the Press, it's not about what is true a just for America, it's about how much the can grab for themselves!

Obama and the Press have done a remarkable job dividing this country!

To much to my surprise, Kurt, I can't even find anything on Fox about it.

AP, just once I'd like Obama to even try censoring the press. He has already violated a number of things in the constitution, but his buddies in the press he wouldn't even think of messing with them.... those are his campaign source for "free" advertising.

It's up to us bloggers to get this out, I guess.

wow! I sure missed this!

Oh wait! Didn't Obama eliminate Article II, section 4 of the Constitution?

Firebird, in his mind, he has. But then again there are others who believe it's still relevant.

At least someone in congress has some stones to draft this up and submit it!!!

Great post, Mark, I linked you under your comment! I wish something would come of this.

Thanks, Bunni. Anyone want to catch the video on this, check out Bunni's post, it’s a good one
I think this will be stuck in committee until after the election, is my bet. And only be brought forth for a vote if Obama gets reelected.

Although the idea is right this is only a resolution and not an act. And it only deals with a 'should this occur' or "if, dog, rabbit", if you will.

Then of course you have the Senate.

All of this is a dog and pony show in an election year whether or not the MSM presents it to the generally ignorant public.

Beside, is this not already in the Constitution and yet not followed.

Exit thought; Why do we pay politicians in the first place?

Well of course it's not an act, that would make it law, once passed and signed. Yes, your right, it’s a resolution, to draft an article of impeachment, but the "high crimes" were alleged in this resolution, it will be up to committee to set charges drafted within the resolution and then once passed as an impeachment in the House the Senate will hold proceedings to determine guilt. (And with Reid holding the Senate hostage, that is very unlikely).
My question is, why has the media ignored this?

Mark, I believe you know the answer to that question.
