Today the Candles are lit.
The glow of the flames penetrate the fog of uncertainty.
Humanity remembers.
Our prayers are for piece and our convictions are steadfast.
God Bless the innocence that died in the murderous horror of 9/11.
God Bless the heros that tried to help.
God Bless George Bush and Rudy Giuliani for their leadership.
God Bless those who still remember.
God Bless those who still suffer.
God Help those who have forgotten!

Nice remembrance there sir
I was just saying at Teresamerica that day they were talkin Sears tower and Hancock I'll remember the entire day like a nightmare imprinted on my brain forever Mark.
We lost a lot that day..one thing people don't take into account, not that any Americans are better than others but many of the people in those buildings were the leaders of tommorrow and that's a part of the reason the country is so 'bankrupt at the top' right now in some folks' opinions. (me one of them)
I know that sounds snobby, but it's true. Half the people in there were 'the elite' from Ivy league schools, Harvard MBA's, and not all them are liberal idiots. I know, my little brother's one of them HBS crowd but one of the conservative ones who's here in Chicago now.
Let's pray for the ones lost that day and make sure it never happens again by firing this halfrican shithead asacif.......that acronym stands for 'as soon as congress is fired'..
Well said AP.
Ray, yes we did loose some very potential leaders that day, but there are plenty here still to lead us today. (well maybe not the ass-clowns in we have in Washington now, but Nov and 2012 are coming quick).
If radical Islam thinks they have brought us to our knees, they don't understand American exceptionalism and resolve very well and that our opportunities run deep and our memories run long.
Mark,
Both you and Ray are speaking my language.
Thanks for the post!
Christopher, Ray, Adams Patriot and all.
Great read here and thought I would share.
