We, the people of the United States of America, live in the greatest country ever conceived. We enjoy freedoms and more opportunities for self-determination like no other on planet Earth. People from all over the globe, who wish to make a better life for themselves elsewhere, choose the United States over ANY other nation. They wish to rejoice in freedom they've never had before.

It is the utmost importance that each and every citizen needs to be reminded of how our forefathers were able to ensure these freedoms we enjoy, and the documents which made them possible.

Unfortunately, some Americans take our freedoms for granted and use those freedoms to make changes that our forefather brought upon this nation. Those Americans do not understand the effort and sacrifice which was required to obtain these freedoms, and don't understand that the changes they so desire will one day come to haunt even THEIR daily lives. All for the ignorance of social change.

It is as important today, if not MORE important, to fight for and honor the achievements of our founding fathers. Without their steadfast dedication to their principles and convictions, NONE OF US would have the freedoms we enjoy today.

During trying economic times, some wavered on our nation's principles. But trying times should be a signal us to a greater calling and hold freedom ever more endearing to our hearts.

We as a people, as a nation and as a bastion of freedom will not stand for a small minority of Americans to besmirch our constitution or violating its content.

More than ever we need "True at Heart Americans" to remember what made our country great...and conduct ourselves accordingly.

American Tea Party- Going Rogue

The Tea Party is a conservative movement that is growing from its sprouts 8 short months ago and has been given a shot of Viagra.

And is now more popular than the two parties currently holding power in Washington, according to a major new poll.

A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released Wednesday say 41 percent of likely voters now have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party. That compares to a 35 percent favorable rating for Democrats and 28 percent for the GOP.

The more the Obama administration takes America to the left, the larger the Tea Party grows on the right.

This is an astonishing movement. A movement based on the foundation of what was once a GOP base.

They have begun to walked away from the GOP in record numbers because of one simple fact (well there are lots of facts, but...)

Americans that now see The Tea Party as the party of choice are more then likely staunch GOP'ers who have gotten fed up with the loss of vision by the Republican party and how the Republican party have given some left talking points a consideration of 'their flexible agenda'.

That won't hold water with most Americans and the results of this poll suggest voter antipathy toward both major parties is more profound than first thought.

It also tells us that the left-wing bloggers and talk hosts who have consistently trashed The Tea Party since it's inception with an obscene “tea bagger” reference are out of step with the American people at best and despiteful to say the least.

As I see it, when you stoop to harsh name calling, there is an underlying panic from the left that this movement is more of a tsunamis of resentment towards not only the left, but moderates of the right.

MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough said “This is stunning to me just because it shows how angry Americans are – the Tea Party movement is more popular than both major parties. The parties are dying.”

Where was Obama?

Today, a ground breaking ceremony began on the memorial of flight 93 in Shanksville PA to honor the patriots who fought back to take back control of the passenger jet that was bound for the Whitehouse on 9-11.



Where, oh where was our beloved leader? (chock, cough)
Back in Washington DC to convince his party in the House of Representatives to pass socialized healthcare. WOW, what a leader.

Rep. Michele Bachmann 'House Call'

Rep. Michele Bachmann has called Americans to Washington DC.



Michele Bachmann has called for a "House Call" "Let your voices be heard, loud and clear" by Americans who are fed up with the Democrats health care bill, HR 3962, a 1990 page bureaucratic debacle which might be brought to the House floor for a vote on Saturday Nov 7th. Michele asked up to as many as 45,000 Americans to walk the halls of congress and to let them know 'We mean NO'

"You came. And you came to your house. And you came for an emergency house call, and are they going to listen? Oh yeah, oh yeah, they're going to listen. It was Thomas Jefferson who said a revolution every now and then is a good thing. What do you think? We are at the point of revolution. And by that, what I mean, an orderly revolution where the people of this country wake up get up and make a decision that this is not going to happen on their watch...And we can't let the Democrats achieve their ends any longer!

This next line tells it all folks. I am more proud to be an American today then I have in the last 10 months because of what you are about to read.

Today, Bachmann said how she had been writing the journals of Abigail Adams (great woman I might add), who wondered if future generations would understand the sacrifices that were made to create this country. "You literally stand with us on hallowed ground," said Bachmann. "This is hallowed ground of freedom, and that freedom was purchased at an incalculable price that none of us can ever truly comprehend. And for 233 years, every generation that has come before has faithfully handed the baton of freedom to the next generation. And so now we are that privileged generation, privileged to be here to be here today."

My response to Valerie Jarrett

This was my response to Valerie Jarrett from her interview on ABC News' This Week with George Stephanopoulos today that was posted on "The Swamp" a Washington based liberal left column of the Chicago Tribune.

As for questions about the plans in Congress to tax so-called Cadillac health-care plans, Jarrett says:"Let's let the process go forward. Let's not pre-judge to the end"
In other words, lets not ask questions right now, lets do it and then ask questions???... Please Jarrett the American people are NOT stupid.

"He (Obama) has reached out. He has listened. He has reached across the aisle...His effort has been sustained throughout the year."
He has done nothing of the sort, when he listens and claims to have reached across the aisle, he ignores the message.

"I think what we look to the president to do is to lead by example,"
Will you Ms Jarrett, the President and Congress also take this healthcare legislation as their own (if passed)? No, they have 100's of other insurance coverage options.

"But ultimately it's up to the Republicans to decide if they want to be a constructive force and come to the table and work with us in a positive way."
You mean YOUR way? Everything that has been proposed from the right has been shot down, time and time again.

"It's rather telling when the Republican Party forces out a moderate Republican" (NY23 election)
Please reference 'forced out'. She quite of her own accord.

"And right now what you see is a great deal of momentum moving forward, for example, on health care. The American people want change"
They want reform, not Government intervention on their choices and certainly not a single payer system.
GET A CLUE!

Mid-American Entrepreneur

Dave Johnson is a small business man in Missouri who is just as outraged, as I am, at this "New Government" intrusion not only in to his personal and business life, but in to all Americans lives. People who are seeing this counties prosperity evaporating each and everyday since the Dems have taken total control of our nation are afraid of what is coming.
But SOME are fighting back, such as Mr. Johnson is. Fighting back, even if it is in words. We all need to fight back, regardless of what is going on in your lives right now, those things will eventually go away. THIS intrusion by the Government will last much, much longer.
Dave is the solo proprietor of "The Outsider", a landscaping and designing company serving the greater St Louis metro area.

The Obama Administration is so smart, they are just so right on target with their programs, their minds are so sharp with the understanding of economics and priming the economy for recovery... how could we ever have existed without a complete Democratic party controlling the U.S. political power before now?

The real cost to tax payers is:

A) For the $4,500 'cash for clunkers' program...$24,000 per vehicle!

B) For the $8,000 'first time home buyers' program...$42,000 per home!

C) The actual numbers recently stated for 'jobs created and/or saved'....was over stated, actual numbers are 5,000 jobs less! Most of the jobs 'saved' were teaching jobs (aka; government jobs).

D) Unemployment continues to rise and corporations have found ways to improve productivity with less people, so when the economy does improve, many of those who lost their jobs will not be called back.

E) Democratic Socialists want to dismantle the U.S. 'free market' system so that U.S. citizens will rely on the government for everything. With the free market system dismantled who will pay the taxes for all the entitlements for citizens of the U.S. ?

In addition, the administration has already modified Medicare for those on the program. Basically, premiums have gone up, co-pays have risen, medicine will cost more, deductibles have gone up. How can a person retire or pay for these programs?

And Medicare, Social Security and the U.S. Postal Service are near Bankruptcy, if not already there.

The States can't make ends meet and at least one state (liberal California) offers IOU's in lieu of payment (they must have got that idea from the movie 'Dumb and Dumber').

Now the DEMS want to control health care with a public option. How can anybody who is not at least totally brain dead support this?

American Firefighter fights Government

CHESTER, Pa...James Krapf, a Chester City firefighter is taking heat after he refused to take the American flag off of his locker.
The firefighter was trying to go back to work Friday night after being suspended without pay Thursday for refusing to take the flag sticker off his locker
Krapf said he's patriotic and many American flags hang around the firehouse.
He said he was told displaying the sticker on the outside of the locker is a violation of department policy. Personal items can be posted inside the lockers.
...Since when is the American flag a "personal item"? It's a symbol of pride, of national symbol of support, a "PUBLIC" symbal of patriotism.
Krapf said "I shouldn't have to remove the flag of the country I believe in. I love my country. "I love my job. I love helping people. I've been doing this 11 years in the City of Chester, so this is something I love to do."
Krapf said he hoped to meet with the fire commissioner and the mayor to resolve the issue, though he still wants to be able to display an American flag.

AND as you should!!! You're a hero of American sprit and pride. Not much of that these days in America since we have the utmost socialist in "our Whitehouse" who, day after day, is shredding the declaration of independence of these United States and Europeanizing our nation.

Has the nation, from the Federal level, to state level, to county level, to the local level, been so far draw in to a Government notion the we are a nation "By the Government, For the Government, Of the Government? Enough IS enough!

It's people like firemen Krapf who deserve our support. Who are telling the Government at ALL levels, WE ARE THE PEOPLE! And that YOU are the servants TO the PEOPLE!

Show Me State shows up Obama

On I-70 in Blue Springs MO there's a message for Obama that is loud, clear and BIG.
The sign features the hammer and sickle, an insinuates that Obama will jeopardize the first and second amendments to the Constitution.



The billboard owned by Bill Cody, a metro area small business owner of a metal fabrication business, says he is against the policies coming out of the White House. And he calls the Federal Stimulus Package a waste and is equally upset over the bailout of the Big 3 Auto Makers. (This blogger agrees)
Cody also says he did it "to vent." To exercise his FIRST amendment rights to free speech. "We voted for change and this is the change we got."

Great job Mr. Cody, way to push back and to tell it like it is.
We all need freedom from Obama, the sooner the better!!!

A Nation of Patriots

Tens of thousands ascended on Washington DC yesterday. People from across our nation who put aside their daily lives to speak as one in our nations Capital.
The march on Washington began right after the Tea Parties that popped up across the nation on April 15th of this year. Leading the way was the Tea Party Express. These men and woman, both White and Black, marched across the nation to 32 cities to hold rallies against, as they put it "will highlight some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses. These Members of Congress have infringed upon the freedom of the individual in this great nation, and its time for us to say: "Enough is Enough!"
And 'Enough' is what was seen and heard in Washington DC


The Express started in Sacramento CA and criss-crossed the nation to Toms River NJ before ending up in DC. In every city they hit (and along the route) many people who attending the rallies dropped what they were doing and tagged along, caravanning with the 2 large class C buses that recorded the events and blogged from the road to up date the nation on that days event.
Those involved with this protest project and those who managed to get to Washington DC for the rally (along with everyone who were at the 32 rallies and those who couldn't but wanted to) you are true American Patriots: Defenders of Prosperity.

TV's Defenders of Prosperity-

Over the course of the last few weeks many Cable TV talk show hosts have been going after the Governments Health Care Plan, Cap & Trade, Stimulus, etc.. with un-dyeing fortitude. They all point to one form of political-economic ideals that is being thrust in to our lives... Socialism.
Bill O'Reily, Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, to name just a few.
And of course I have to agree, it's like getting hit in the face with a two-by-four. If you don't notice... you must not be alive.

But one Cable talk show host really stands out, that is Glenn Beck.
He is pulling out all the stops and calling it like it truly is, Communism, or the steering there of.
And in this clip of 8/26/09, Glenn challenges you to stand up and push back, I mean REALLY push back against this direction we are heading to. The Clip really makes sense if you stop, listen and challenge yourself to discount it.... I couldn't!

When you stop and think about it, I mean really stop and think, what is socialism?
It's one step away from Communism.
Keep this going Glenn, regardless of the so called Advertisers, like Wal-Mart, CVS, Clorox, Sprint and the UPS Store for pulling out. Pulling out of a show that is being watched by over 2.5M people each night. How can they call themselves a member of free enterprise when they run away from the very same people they want money from?
Has the Obamanation sunk that deep in to their business minds??

Motor City Madness

U.S. Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) held one fiery townhall meeting in Romulas MI yesterday, and like hundreds of other townhall meetings across the nation, he was given an ear full by his constituents on the national health care debate.
One constituent, Mike Sola of Milan, wheeled his son up to the podium and demanded that U.S. Rep. John Dingell explain why his son Scott, who has cerebral palsy, would not be covered under health insurance reform legislation.
Dingell did not give a straight answer and Mr. Sola, with his son, were later escorted out by police.

Group Defenders of Prosperity

Patients First is my new American Patriots- Defenders of Prosperity that has arisen from the grassroots efforts and Americans for Prosperity.
Our Government, especially the POTUS are pushing hard to get a bill for healthcare reform passed and signed in to law by August 1st, 2009. This bill which has just come out of committee and back to the house has been cut down from 1200 pages to a little over 1000. And now Obama wants to ram rod this through to law.

I have read this current bill, and it's very scary.

Put organization like Patients First are pushing back, and pushing HARD.

Cap & Trade under attack

New Defenders of Prosperity-
David McArthur, vice president of the 52-year-old family operation of McArthur's Bakery of St. Louis, Mo.

David McArthur sees the Cap & Trade legislation that just past the House and is on it way to the Senate, as a business killer (and rightfully so) and it targets every aspect of his business that relies on the forms of energy that the American Clean Energy and Security Act points to.
David told Fox News that "We make our product with electricity, we bake it with gas, we refrigerate and freeze it with electricity and we distribute it with gas and oil and that it will cost him about an additional $15K more a year.
But, business owners, like David, along with taxpayers are fighting back.
McArthur, who penned a scathing letter to his congressmen Carnahan (D-MO), is not alone in taking the message directly to their congressman. Dozens of small protests were organized at the end of June at federal buildings and outside the offices of national lawmakers who voted for the bill by scads of business owners and taxpayer alike.

My first Defenders of Prosperity

Welcome to the American Patriots- Defenders of Prosperity. AKA: APDP
For the record this blog will focus on those who stand up and defend Freedom, Democracy, the ideals of the founding fathers and the US constitution that they inscribed in to our hearts and souls that is true America.

On this day is my opening post.
On this day we celebrate the birth of our nation, 233 years ago.

July 4th, 2009.

And what better way to open the American Patriots- Defenders of Prosperity blog then with a story of two of my family members, one of which has gone to Iraq and returned with a Metal of Valor award for his bravery on the battlefield.

John Marra (picture with his family) is an Army Reserve Staff Sgt. who fought terrorists and saved a soldier's life in Iraq. His squad leader was seriously wounded during an ambush. John jumped in to action and performed CPR in the back of an Iraqi police truck while Al Qaeda terrorists fired at them as the driver sped away.
John is not a quitter and his persistence paid off. The squad leader, who had stopped breathing for a time, survived.
John is a true blue American Patriot. Damn proud of him!

The other, Johns wife and my niece Kimberly (Pictured with John), is heading in to the Army next month, to depart for nine weeks of Army training at Ft. Jackson, S.C. with goals only a strong heart person could withstand.
Kimberly says this, which makes her an America Patriot from this bloggers stand point.
"I always wanted to go to the military, I guess I really believe in what our Army is doing in terms of what is going on in the world."
Kimberly, with a Communication Degree from the University of Nevada wants to obtain leadership and communication skills so she can pursue a career in foreign affairs.
Knowing her and her determination to succeed, I believe she will make a big difference in American foreign affairs. And in my opinion, she'll do a much better job then Joe Biden.
