It Was A Mistake

Tonight, Newt Gingrich, while on Fox News 'On The Record' publicly state that his statement on Meet the Press about Paul Ryans approach to change the medicare federal system being 'Right Wing social engineering' was a mistake and that he personally called Mr Ryan to apologies for the statement.

The former House speaker also held two conference calls with Tea Party leaders, one on Monday night and one Tuesday morning, to explain what he meant by his comments Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Politico reported.

“We’ve tried to correct the record and admit it could have been done better,”

That took guts and he should have done it right from the get go.
Matter of fact, Gingrich said he should have refused to answer such a loaded question.

I'll take his apology to heart and with a grain of salt.
Gingrich needs to get right with the base, and he better do it quite.
You might not ever forgive him.
I believe Paul Ryan has.
You might not vote for him in the primaries.
Now, in my opinion, he really is the strongest candidate thus far in the race, that MOST Americans know.
His past, the left will dig through and regurgitate. WHO cares what they say.
They've said and done enough the last two plus years.

Keep an open mind because the ultimate goal here is to field the best candidate to remove Obama.
Thats the objective.
